Hi, I'm keyboardist Nick Stubblefield.
I thought I might make a video today explaining a little keyboard technique known as finger
drumming, and in doing so, I'd pay an homage to legendary funk drummer Clyde Stubblefield,
unfortunately of no relation.
The way I'm going to do this is first I'm going to lay down a funky bass line and then
a funky clav line.
These are of my own creation.
Then I'm going to finger drum in the style of Clyde Stubblefield over top of that.
Check it out.
Let's lay down the bass line.
