[A] Hey everybody, what's that [D] sound?
It's a musical [E] [A] car!
It's a hit sensation across the nation!
[D] From the North and [E] South and East!
[D] You can see me [E] riding every day, [D] I'm never [E] too far!
[D] [E] Jeff's [A] Musical Car!
[N] Hey, this is Jeff's Musical Car from Moncton, and I'm here with Regina Saskatchewan's Colter Wall.
Nice to have you.
It's good to be here.
Thanks for having me.
[Em] No problem.
So tell me a bit about yourself.
Well, as you say, I come from Saskatchewan.
I actually come from a small town just southwest of Regina.
[F#] And [C] I am, as of today, 20 years old.
[N] Doing this long time?
Oh no, this [A#m] is my first [Em] ever tour.
Oh really?
Okay, so you're fresh off the press.
Yeah, I'm on the road promoting my first big new EP.
And I'm playing alongside Danny Oliver, which is pretty great.
[E] Yeah, this is as far out east as I've ever been.
[Em] We welcome you to New Brunswick, and tell me [N] a bit about the song you're going to play for me today.
The song I'm going to play is [Em] from my new EP.
It's called The Devil Wears a Suit in Time.
And it's about a figure [N] in American folklore named Robert Johnson.
He was sort of the godfather of the Delta Blues, so to speak.
And he [Em] allegedly sold his soul to the devil in order to be able to play the guitar.
And so the song is sort of about that exchange.
Okay, well, whenever you're ready.
Alright, sounds good.

Oh, I listen to a lot of traditional folk, Americana root stuff, obviously blues, delta blues, huge influence.
