Start Jamming...
Garage was completely packed with all of these samples of clothes and stuff and everything so we couldn't use the garage
So we were forced [G]
to work in the living room
[Eb] Terrible thing it was traumatic.
We couldn't like relate to anybody.
We're running a garage
[D] So out of that [Ab]
psychosis
[G] Kind of leading up to that we were one day messing around with [D] our harmonica and
[N]
this weird kind of strange beat and we started writing a song which was an
Instrumental and we played this instrumental for months.
We never had lyrics to it.
Just kept [D] playing
[Eb] And my dad was came on to manage us and kept saying, you know, it's song is [A] going over really well
you guys should really write some lyrics [Gb] to it [N] and John was our lyricist Sean rest his soul and
Months kept going by and nothing nothing [Ab] and finally one day
we were actually [E] rehearsing in my living room for a change and [N] Sean lived across the street and
My dad's where's the [Bb] lyrics to that song and Sean said I don't know I'm working people [Eb] go across the street
Don't come back until you finish it
So about 15 minutes John came back with [Dbm] the lyrics the [G] psychotic reaction.
It's a truce
[Eb] and we modified in here and there after that and
went through a lot of different [E]
auditions and things and
[B]
[D] It's all kept changing and everybody kept saying Oh get [G] rid of this
Get [N] rid of that and get rid of harmonica harmonica doesn't really work in this song
We some stuff we listen to and some stuff we didn't at the end.
We finally had this last
last audition with
[Eb] a record label
[N]
and we were in there waiting to see if we're gonna get signed and
This is the truth.
I remember the blind girl
became
Yeah, she didn't see you either
They came into this state this producer uses one who's blind to see whether the beat was good enough for her
Then she came in and she said yeah, I liked it.
So then they need to sign this one
And the record came out on the day we graduated from pioneer high school
So weird that's one month earlier my
