Here's a guy from Mountain City, Tennessee.
Dave Loggins, who's actually the cousin of Kenny Loggins.
And we best know Dave for his big hit in 1974 called, Please Come to Boston.
Well, Dave also wrote a big song for another group, Three Dog Night.
They had a huge hit with his song, Pieces of April, in 1972.
That year, Dave also recorded his own version.
And in 1979, re-recorded that song, but a little bit different style to it.
A much more polished, light rock kind of sound.
Unfortunately, this song did not crack the Hot 100, but it's a fantastic version.
