So in honour of David Bowie, I'm going to teach Rebel Rebel.
So here's how the song goes. _

So first of all, I'll show you the left hand, [E] then I'll show you the right hand.
So left hand, we're gonna play open [D] D, _ _
open high [B] E string, _ then we're gonna play 3 on the B string,
[D] _ 2 on the [Fm] B string, _
then we're gonna play fret 1 [A] on the G and the open B string together.
_ And you'll notice that what I'm doing
[E] _ here,
actually [D#] come this way, _
_ is I'm killing those notes by flattening this third finger here onto the fretboard.
_ So I'm [F#] just resting it on the strings.
[F] I'm not pressing it down. _
Okay, [D] so
_ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ then I'm gonna play an open bottom E string,
_ _ _ then I'm gonna come back to the B string [D] and play 2 [C#] open,
[F#] _ _ 1 on the [G#] G and then 2 on the D.
[N] So slowly, [D] D,
_ _ _ [D] _
B string, 3, 2,
_ [C#] _ _
[G#] 1 on the G and open B twice, _ _
_ open bottom E string,
[E] _ on the B string, 2 open,
[C#] _ [B] _ _ [G#] 1 on the [Fm] G,
_ and then [E] 2 on the D.
And then that goes round [D] and repeats.

So with the right hand, I'm not just using the pick, I'm using the pick and my fingers.
So I'm gonna play the open D with my pick,
_ _ [E] and then I'm gonna play the [D] E string with my third finger here.
_ _ _ _ [Bm] And then I'm gonna play the B string with my middle finger.
You can use a [D] pick for this whole thing, _ _ _ _ _
but I think it just sounds better [N] using your fingers.
So open [D] D, _ _ _
open E, _ _ _ _ [C#] _ _
[F#] 3 and 2 [C#] _ on the [D] B string. _
_ _ [A] _ Then for the G and the B together, I'm gonna use these [Fm] two fingers.
So middle [F#] finger on the G, third finger on the B,
_ _ then I'm gonna use the pick for the bottom E [E] string,
and as my hand comes back down to play [A] these other [C#] notes,
[E] _ _ the palm here will automatically start [Am] to mute that bottom E [E] string, _ _
_ _ _ _ kill that [D] note. _
_ _ _ [Fm] _ _ _ [E] _ _
[C#m] _ _ Then I'm gonna pick that B string with my third finger, [A#] and I'm gonna pull it off.
So I'm not gonna strike [C#] the open E.
[F#] _ _ Then I'm gonna use the middle finger [G#] _
_ to play the G [E] and the pick.
To play the [D] D string.
So _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
_ _ [D] _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ [A#] I might be over-complicating it because you can just do that,
but that's the way that I play it, and I think it sounds [D] pretty much accurate.
So _ _ [E] you _ _ _ _ _ can do it that way, but then there's two ways of doing it.
Then we have the following chords.
[A] A major,
_ _ _ [A] D major, [D] _
_ _ _ B [Bm] minor, _ _ _ _ E [E] major.
_ So again, [A] that's A,
B, _ _ [D] D, _ _ [Bm] E minor, _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ [G#] and then at the end of that, after a few times round, it goes [D] to a D major, _ _ _
and then [E] an E major.

[G#] And then we're gonna bend [E] the G on the third fret of the bottom E string,
[G#] _ and then [D] back into the riff.
So again, that's D,
