Hi there, it's day 321 on Patty Kesterak's 365 Days of Fiddle Tunes, and today's tune
will be one that you most likely have never heard before.
It's written by a guy by the name of Bill Cameron from Vermont.
I met Bill a couple years ago at the Grand North American Fiddler's Championships in
Radway, Alberta, and he was a contestant, and I was one of the judges, and I was just
really blown away by his tunes that he played, so I asked him what they were afterwards,
and he said they were all tunes of his.
So I asked him if he could send me some sound clips of them, because I wanted to, you know,
play them and learn them and write them out and stuff, so it took a while, but I finally
got to this one, and this one is called the White Grasshopper Jig, and I'm going to post
in the description exactly where that name comes from.
Hope you enjoy it, and thanks Bill for the great tunes.
