[B]
What's up?
[G] Welcome in.
[Gb] [D] This is Dan from Death Heaven.
You're checking out our tour bus right now.
We're on tour of the whole US.
We're in Chicago.
We're playing with Drab Majesty in uniform at the Metro.
Sick show.
So I just wanted to show you the bus a little bit.
We've got our entertainment [Eb] center up here.
So we're hanging out, kicking [Gb] it, you know, social situations.
We've got the DVD player, we've got the PS4, we've got the TV, we've got the icebox [C] full of things.
We've got the speakers and shit, you know.
[Bb]
So yeah, this is where we play Far Cry 5 until like 5 in the morning every damn night.
And we're slowly but surely chipping away [F] and we will beat this game on this tour, hands
down, for sure.
[Gb] So yeah, we've got kind of like a couple shifts in the band.
We've got the day guys.
[D] They'll wake up kind of early, they hit the gym, [C] they're, you know, functioning human beings.
And then we've got the night shift where it's me and, you know, a couple of crew guys, bassist Chris.
We'll hang out until [Gb] about 4 or 5, play video games, just kind of hanging out.
We like to hang out until the bus starts moving [C] so we can kind of get that established, you
know, hit the road [Gb] and then hit the hangout for that.
So that's our MO.
Funny thing about the bus, our driver Pablo, he's very attentive to detail and cleanliness.
So one day I walked out and I was like, dude, [Bbm] my shoes.
Like, I have no shoes.
I'm wearing socks right now.
Like, I literally walked in the venue like, where the fuck are my shoes?
Pablo's like, [Bb] shoe drawer, bro.
Like, thanks Pablo.
Appreciate that, man.
This is kind of the [Eb] universal table right here where we kick it.
I mean, you know, we got the swishers, we got the [Bb] cigs, we got, you know, beverages.
And then a lot of work gets done here too.
You know, the crew, the management, they'll take care of, you know, money stuff, just
emails and whatnot.
But yeah, we got our bathroom right here.
The throne.
[C] So we got that going.
We got the culinary area where we [D] prepare our spaghetti and meatballs with our [C] toaster.
[D] We got our fridge.
[B] Pretty standard stuff, you know, road food, snacks.
[Bb]
We got a handful of vegans in the band, so we have, you know, I try to keep my carnivorous
food [C] separate, you know, if possible.
But yeah, we're [B] pretty low key about the food that we have in here.
It's [Eb] basically just snacks for everybody.
But yeah.
[Bb] We got some fun stuff up here in the freezer.
Late night drinks.
And we usually have a giant box of drumsticks in here and it's kind of a travesty that there
isn't right now, [C] but you know, just imagine that.
This is basically just like, you know, seasonings and plates and just, you know, very basic,
bare [Bb] minimum.
So we got some DVDs up here, which we just acquired, which is crucial because the cable
doesn't actually work.
The [Bb] satellite doesn't work when we're parked, which is kind of a bummer.
But we got DVDs for that.
We got, you know, paper towels, all those necessities and whatnot.
So [Eb] yeah, pretty much every day we wake up, we [Bbm] kind of roll out of the bunks.
[Gm] We just check out what we got on the agenda for the day.
You know, we got set times.
We got, you know, see, [G] obviously I'm doing this right now.
And you know, where we're at, just in [C] case we forget where the hell you are.
It happens.
Trust me.
And then check out the bunks.
And I recommend holding your breath because it's kind of brutal in [D] here.
[Bb] [C]
This is where [N] we all sleep and, you know.
So we have 12 bunks and we have three, we call them junk bunks.
So we got nine people on the road and they're all sleeping in this little 15-foot area.
So it gets kind of intense in the middle of the night.
Lots of noises, lots of smells, lots of sensations.
It's cool.
And then we got the back lounge right back here.
This is my favorite part of the bus, personally.
So this is kind of like the, [Bb] kind of the smoker's lounge, you know,
[Db] where we kind of like just chill, smoke.
[Ab] Got another TV.
Got, you know, more entertainment [Eb] devices at our disposal.
We got some cabinets where we keep all of our sketchy stuff.
And yeah, a lot of late [G] nights here.
I'll end up kind of just passing out.
Because we'll be, you know, driving [Bb] from A to B.
[Eb] Kind of like peeping a movie, just like getting super tired.
And I'll kind [F] of come to, it'll be like eight hours later, I'll be like,
oh shit, we're here.
So yeah, there's a lot of good nights in this back area.
I like [Ab] it.
Right, so we're on tour right now for our new record,
Ordinary Corrupt Team in Love on Anti Records.
Go check it [N] out.
But now I gotta say goodbye.
Peace.
