He's re-recorded some of his more well-known tunes with a fresh approach to each of them.
This one's a no-brainer to be on this collection.
It's One Ride in Vegas.
One Ride in Vegas was written by [C] myself and my buddy, Brett Beaver.
[G] And this one day we got together and I guess had the idea of One Ride in Vegas
_ about the Super Bowl of the [C] rodeo world.
And growing up in Texas, we had a lot of friends [G] that were in that world
and we just kind of wrote the song [D] about paralleling [G] rodeo life with being a musician
on the road and the ups and [C] downs and the pains and stuff like that.
So it just kind of wrote [G] itself.
It was actually [D] my very first album and I titled [G] my first album One Ride in Vegas.
But the great thing is Chris Ledue, about two years after I recorded [C] it,
had heard about it and he [G] recorded it himself.
That just gave us credibility that we hit [D] it right because, you know, that's _ [G] Chris Ledue.
He recorded our song and it's a [A] rodeo song, so we did okay. _ _
