Hi, this is Eric from Dean Guitars, and today I'm proud to introduce to you our new Dime
Amplification D100 solid state 120-watt monster.
This thing's a shredding machine.
Let's take a closer look at the front panel.
This amp has two channels on it.
It's got an overdrive channel and a clean channel.
Channel two is your overdrive channel, along with a boost switch, which is nice.
So you have two stages of gain here.
Channel two you can get anywhere from a British overtone, ACDC style, to any kind of metal
that you want to crunch out of it.
Hitting in your gain boost switch adds a lot more distortion to the channel.
You get some of those great overbites and those overtones that Dime used to get when
he was doing his squealing and stuff.
Channel one is strictly clean, really crystal clear sound.
You can turn up your gain channel all the way and get some maybe a little British crunch,
a little light British crunch on that, but it's mostly a clean channel, and that's what
we're going to use that for today.
We do have a high and a low impedance here.
The low would be for guitars that would probably become EMG equipped, or if you have any kind
of active pickups.
Today we'll just be playing through the zero dB high input since we're using passive pickups.
On the back of the amplifier we have two effects loops, effects loop one and effects loop two,
which are independent to each channel.
However, effects loop two will combine effects with channel one when you're playing it, so
that's a kind of unique feature, as well as a reverb here, which can be controlled through
the back via a foot switch.
Both channels can be changed using the FS1 foot switch, which is included [F#] with this head.
Four band EQ, and I'm going to run you through a couple channels.
I'll run you through the clean first.
Let's hear what that sounds like.
Let's check it out.

Okay, so that was channel one, the clean channel.
We did a couple riffs there with chorus and reverb, a little bit of delay, so you can
hear what you can do with the effects loop, and then we also did it dry for you, so you
get an idea about the crystal clear sound that this amplifier does provide.
Let's take a look onto channel two now.
This is the overdrive channel where we can click in the boost.
I'm going to play some riffs for you, with and without boost, so you can get an idea
of the overall tone of this amplifier.

Okay, that was channel two.
Now going into some additional dynamics that you can do with this amp.
On the FS-1 foot switch that's included with the amp, you can combine both channels, so
you can have clean and dirty, which makes for some kind of unique sounds and unique
tones, and adds some versatility to this amp that I think a lot of amplifiers out there are missing.
So let's give that a listen too.
Now let's hear what this amp was meant to do.
Searing lead tones, aggressive dive bombs, and we're just going to have some fun here
and enjoy it.
Okay, [B] so that's the first look at our new Dime D-100 amplifier.
Extremely affordable.
I suggest you go out to your stores, get to a local Dean dealer, get to a local Dime amplification
dealer and check one out today.
You won't be disappointed.
