Hey guys, what's [C] up?
Yahaush we're here with simple keys.
Welcome back to another [A] video in this lesson
I'm [E] gonna be teaching [C] you a smooth diminished movement [Dm] that you can use [Fm] going to [Bb] the second [Am] tone of the scale
I'm gonna have [E] some fun with this one
It's gonna [C] be a little bit different [Am] and you can use this in talk music [F] or [B] you can use it in a [Am] song
So let's get [E] right into it.
We [Eb] are in the key of E flat major for this
[Ab] [Eb] All right, so you got [Fm] your one [Ab] two, three, four, five six seven [Eb] that would bring us back
[Am] Now the movements that we're gonna be using here are gonna jump into different keys and the chords
I'm [E] gonna be playing also gonna be [C] from other keys
[A] So it will be important to know [F] how to play in all [Dm] 12
So if [Am] you do want to get a better understanding of that
[G] I do have a guide that you can download [F] over at the site
It's gonna walk you through all the 12 major [Bb] and minor keys
So go ahead [Am] and check that out
[E] And if you also want to learn how [C] I'm able to pick up a lot of these [Am] movements a lot of the [F] songs that you
[Bb] Hear within a couple of [C] minutes.
[Gbm] I did break down the entire [E] music learning [C] process from scratch
I walk you through how [A] I broke away from [F] playing [Bb] classical traditional [Am] music to learning how to play music solely by ear now
So I go over the fundamentals with [F] you.
We go for [Bb] chords progressions on [Em] how to break [Dm] down songs
So go ahead [E] and check that [Am] out as well
[F] And if you also want to [Bb] take your plane to the next level and if [Am] you're not able to find the full [G] lesson on the channel
You should [F] be able to find it in the simple keys lab
It's really gonna be the best [Bb] place to [G] not [Am] only learn songs learn movement
That's also gonna be one of the best places just to take your plane to the [F] next level
So [Dm] go ahead and check that [G] out.
[F] So let's get right [C] into this.
We're gonna play this movement and it goes something like this
[F] All [E] [Eb]
[Db] right, so don't worry about the last two chords the movement that we're [C] really trying to play is [Bm] this
[Bb] [B] [Db]
[Fm] [Eb]
[Db] Okay, those are the bonus chords right [Bbm] there [C] so the movement that we're going for here is
[Bm] It's kind of [C] like you're moving
[E] [F] And [Gm] [Bbm]
that's like the melody line and your left hand is gonna be moving like [C] chromatically.
It's gonna go [Bm] [Bb] B and D
B flat and E
[Ab] Here we're gonna be playing an A flat diminished 7 [Db] next chord
G diminished 7 then last [Ab] chord is F minor 11
So one more [Fm] time [Bm] and [C] [B] [D] [Db]
[Ab]
[Db]
those are some bonus chords [C] so that part again is
[B] [E] [Ab]
[Db] Okay
So you can [F] use this when you're going to let's say the second tone of the scale.
I've [G] used this [Eb] movement [F] in another song
But this is also like another
[Eb] All [C]
[B] [Db] [Ab] [Fm]
[G] [E] right, [B]
[Db] [Ab]
[Db] okay one [C] more time [E] [D] a
flash diminished [Db] 7
G diminished 7 and then here you [Eb] can play
Like a C [F] minor 7 over F if you want if you can make [Ab] the stretch
Play this like a flat [Fm] major 9
Over F.
Which makes it an F minor 11 and the [Ab] next chord I played after this is a
flat major 7 a flat a flat C
G then the last chord I [Db] play is
D flat major 7 so D flat D flat F a flat C
So this is like a movement you can use for top music
[B] And [E] [Ab] [Db]
[Ab] [Eb] [Ab] [Eb]
I've used that movement in another lesson so you can also use that as well if you want to resolve to the first tone
[Ab] [Eb]
[Ab] [F] [Eb]
If you remember that okay, so one [C] more time
[E] [F] All [E] [Ab] [Db]
[Eb] [Ab] [Eb]
right
So that's another movement that you can add to your playing and that should be pretty nice and pretty sweet
one more thing I'm going [C] to show you here [Bm] is
[Bb]
[D] When you play this diminished chord you can also play
This a flat diminished 7 this way in [Db] a different version.
[Ab] It's [Db] [D]
[Db] got a more pronounced melody there, [F] so
[E]
[Ab] But [G] [E] [F]
[Db] [Fm] [Cm] it might be quicker just to [E] go
[Db] All [Ab]
[Bbm]
[Ab] right, so we're gonna end this video [Eb] here
So if you found this lesson helpful and you like this tip go ahead and leave your feedback in the comment section
But we're gonna end this here.
I'm gonna see you guys in the next one.

B flat and E
[Ab] Here we're gonna be playing an A flat diminished 7 [Db] next chord

[Db] Okay
So you can [F] use this when you're going to let's say the second tone of the scale.
I've [G] used this [Eb] movement [F] in another song
But this is also like another
[Eb] All [C]
[B] [Db] [Ab] [Fm]
[G] [E] right, [B]
[Db] [Ab]
[Db] okay one [C] more time [E] [D] a
flash diminished [Db] 7
G diminished 7 and then here you [Eb] can play

[Ab] [Eb] [Ab] [Eb]
I've used that movement in another lesson so you can also use that as well if you want to resolve to the first tone

_ [Bb] _ _ _ [B] _ _ [Db] _ _

[Eb] All [C] _
[B] _ _ [Db] _ [Ab] _ _ _ [Fm] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [G] [E] right, [B] _
