Doc's Banjos -1 chords
Start Jamming...
I'm going to attempt to review a banjo for a friend of mine.
I have a lot of respect for.
This is a banjo made by Doc's Banjos.
Pat's a doctor.
Pat puts the same quality of heart in his banjos as he did in his doctoring and refugee camps all over the world.
[N]
He [Db] keeps all the little parts, especially in the section of the neck.
[Eb] It's like your big thumb.
So he says form and function here I guess.
And I think his neck is wingay.
Wingay.
[Db] And it's got a skull-tote with little muscles.
[D] [F]
The main [B] wood used in this instrument is saffron, which is [Eb] a wood that grows on the Arctic coast.
So no [F] hardwood.
It's really pretty.
And he's used an oak strip down the [E] middle and a wingay strip on each side of that [Eb] I believe.
And a big heel.
[D] [C]
[Eb] He constructs the banjos with strength in mind.
The rim is a block rim, again made out of madrone.
Black campus.
[F] It's attic hardwood.
It's beveled at the top.
[E] That's a woodtree.
[Eb]
[D] [F] That's Doc's banjos.
[Db] This [E] particular banjo is [B] a really great [E] sounding banjo.
47 years.
And it's one of the best banjos I've ever played.
[Am]
I haven't done this before, [E] so I'm going to wrap this around.
This video [D] thing.
[Ab]
[Eb] That's a camera.
[C]
[G]
That I can't think of the name of.
[C]
[G]

[D]

[D] [C]
[D] [C]
So I just thought of the name of that tune.
It's called Snowbird.
Anyway, take a look at Pat's, or Doc's banjos website.
And buy a banjo from Pat.
[N]
Okay, thanks.
