_ _ _ _ _ Another Burmese folk music is the Doba drum music.
Doba is a double-headed drum.
It measures about two and a half feet.
The two drum heads [D#] are not of equal size.
As [D] one suspends it in front of the body with a sling from [F#] the neck,
the drum head on the right side is bigger and the one on the left is smaller.
The two membranes [B] are made of cowhide.
The bigger [G#m] one measuring about 10 inches in diameter
[F#] and the smaller one about 7 inches in diameter. _
[F#] Like Aussie drums, they are tuned with sticking Passa in the center of the membranes.
The bigger one on the player's right is tuned to produce the fundamental pitch
[C#] and the smaller one on the left is tuned to either 4 degree or 5 degree higher
according [D] to the kind of music to be played.
_ The accompanying [F#] instruments are the cymbals, clappers and an oboe.
