Welcome everyone.
We're going to do a little follow up to Mike's acoustic version of Dog [E] Eat Dog.
This is the electric version.
A couple [Eb] little differences [A] here.
I'm starting out on the [E] A and we're going to do kind of a pedal [Db] note.
We're going to go from 5th fret of the [Gb] 4th string and hammer on to 7 and then just keep
that rhythm [A] going.
Then we do it again.
[D]
[E] We're going to strike the 4th [Gb] and 3rd string [Ab] here at the 7th fret.
[A] We're referencing [Dm] a D chord.
Then [C] we're going to do that same lick [A] again.
[C] This reference is a C.
[Em] We're just playing those middle two strings.
[A] [D]
[C] [A] [C] [A] Then to A.
Do that a couple times.
[D] [A] [C] [A]
[Db] Then what I hear [E] is him doing an A where he adds his small finger on the 5th fret of the
1st and [A] 2nd string.
You can also do the A up here.
The reason I'm [C] doing it here is because it keeps me in position for the rhythm.
[A] [Am]
[A] [C]
[G] [Ab] [Am]
[A] The rhythm, what Ted's doing, he's staying in the A and [N] we're playing pretty much [Gb] on
the 4th and 3rd [A] string.
[Gb] We're hitting that A [A] string between.
[C] [A]
[C]
[A] [C]
[A] We're referencing this C but we're [Ab] only playing the 3rd and [A] 4th string.

[Bb] We're just hammering on from the 3rd on the 5th string [Gb] to the 4th and [C] then hitting the A.

That's the first part of the rhythm.
[C]
[A]
[C] [E] When you come [C] up to that, [A] [G]
you're going to go into a G.
[Ab] Use your ring finger up to a G [G]
sharp.
[Ab] [Em] Back [A] to A.
[Gb]
I think that's a really cool [A] lick.
[C]

[Ab] He hits that G sharp twice.

[A] Then we're [E] into the chords which [Eb] are [Bb] C to G [D]
and [Ab] then we got A sharp [Bb] to F.
[F]
[Gb] For the note, we hit an [E] open E.
Then we're going to do the [Gm] Hendrix chord.
We're on the 7th fret with [E] 5th string, [Em] 6th fret on the 4th string, 7th fret on the 3rd
string and 8th fret [G] on the [B] 2nd string.
