Start Jamming...
What's up guys Andrew Bainer here [D] and on today's video we are going to be taking a look at guitar riffs [B] from
1993 to 2020 in every single [Bm] Doom game.
This video features guitar [E] riffs in a ton of different guitar tunings starting in E
standard like this and
[Bb]
[E]
[Eb] then going all the way down to double drop D [D] like this and
[N] pretty much everything in between and in this video
I'm using a plug-in from Slate Digital called THU to make all of my guitar [A] tones.
If you're not familiar with Slate Digital
They [Bb] are an audio company that makes a ton of awesome plugins to help you make music.
Slate Digital also offers an all-access
path [D] which gives you access to over 60 plugins,
samples, tutorials and much more like the THU plugin that I'm [F] using in this video.
[D] The THU plugin also just received [G] a big
update and now you can [Bb] use something called scenes in [F] the plugin which basically [Bb] means if you want to use this plugin live it now
has scenes you can switch off and on effects [D] seamlessly with zero latency using a MIDI controller
and it also [Bb] vastly improved their impulse response loader.
With the new impulse [F] response update
you can of course load your own impulse responses or you [Gb] can use the ones included,
move the mics around in [D] a ton of different ways to help sculpt your tone.
You can even mic the back of the cab and a ton of other things.
So if the THU plugin sounds interesting to you or any of Slate Digital's other plugins go check it out.
The link is going to be in the description and the [Gb] pinned comment.
And with that being said, [F] let's get on to the guitars.
We're starting off in [B] 1993 with the first ever Doom game.
Here's how [E] it sounds.

Alright guys, that'll do it for this video.
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite Doom riff is,
whether it's from the original game or from the Ancient Gods DLC or anywhere in between.
Let me know.
Obviously my personal favorites are from the 2016 game and the Doom Eternal game,
but maybe some of you guys like the OG ones a little more.
Let me know in the comments.
Of course another huge thank you to Slate Digital for sponsoring this video.
If you guys are interested in learning more about their THU plugin or anything else that they have to offer, go check it [C] out.
It's linked in the description below or the pinned comment.
And last but not least, [E] of course,
a big thank you to all my Patreon members [Ebm] whose names are on the screen at this point in time.
[B] If you guys want [F] audio downloads, guitar tabs, [N] stems, or a shot on the screen, you can find all of that over there.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
Look forward to reading your comments and I'll see you next time.
