Okay, so that is lick number nine.
And lick number nine has a lot of bending as well, just in a different way.
So we're starting off with that same move again, that pre-bend, rake, [G] _
release to eight.
_ _ So we'll do that.
[A] Tenth fret, _ [G] pre-bend, rake it, release to eight.
We're playing over the C chord.
That's where some of these notes come into play.
So you have this, _ _ _ _ _ [A] hammer-on eight to ten, [Db] _ hammer-on eight to nine.
[G] And the reason that [Ab] nine [C] sounds so good over the C chord as we're playing, you know, _ that
is the chord that we're playing over. _ _ _ _ _
_ [D] _ _ _ _ [C] _ _ _
_ [D] _ _ _ _ [E] So those notes sound [C] great, especially that nine right here.

[Gb] Hammer-on that eight to nine sounds great.
Just really a minor third over a major [Em] third, but we're changing to think about this over
the key of C. _ _
_ _ _ _ [Am] _ [Em] So that's why that note sounds so good and works.
So lick nine, we got that first part like this. _
_ _ _ _ _ Slide again, we got nine, eight, nine, eight on the B string right here, right before [N] the
next bar happens.
And when that happens, we do this bending thing.
We're still on the C chord.
So we got _ [Eb] one, two, three.
_ [G] _ _ _ So that [C] little rhythm, we're just bending ten, [B] one, two, three.
We put our [C] peak, well, not yet, [G] but we do one, two, three.
The fourth count, hit it while it's bent [B] up, [D] pull down and release to eight.
Now [Ab] _ _ [D] bend it up again on the seventh count.
[B] One, two, three, four, five, six, [Bm] seven, eight.
And then you get a strike on the seventh count, [G] and then you're going to put your pinky underneath
[A] and hit that tenth fret on the high E [Ab] string [G] while it's still bent. _ _ _ _
And then while it's bent up like that, _ _ you take that ten, pull it down and release to eight.
_ _ So the rhythm sounds like [Bb] this.

[C] Now we're going to the next section where we're moving to the [G] G chord, _ _
_ [Am] _ a special section.
So we got bending up to [Ab] ten, apply vibrato.
[D] _ Then [Bm] I'm going to rake while it's [G] bent, pull down and release.
So you [D] got bend _ _ [C] up 11th fret on the B string and [C] vibrato.
And _ then do that same lick where [E] you, you know, the [G] same thing where you rake, [Gm] pre-bend,
release 11 to eight.
[Am] Then we're going to bend up 13 on the B [D] string. _
Now [Gb] go backwards and to the [G] 10th fret to [Gb] hit that.
So slowly that part is this.

That's [Em] how the little section goes.
So the whole thing together, [Abm] well that section before that, you got this.

It's just a lot of bending and you have to bend to the right notes and then you have

flawlessly [Bb] or it's just not going to sound good.
If [Em] you hit extra strings, [D] you know, if you're going, _

You have to be precise on this stuff.
[E] Take that palm and get all those first four strings here muted [Gm] when you're doing that. _
