Where did you record this
this record at?
Was it at a variety of studios or did you lock down in one
place?
Mostly here in in Pittsburgh.
Okay which studio?
In fact all here in Pittsburgh
at the church and then at my studio at Maple House.
Very cool the church is awesome right?
Yeah Dana and the whole crew over there
are great.
No doubt about it they got tons of good
gear although I'm sure that you'd have no trouble getting that with the
with the gunslingers you're bringing in everybody comes with gear who's all on
the record?
We had besides the band we had a
couple of guests Kenny Arnoff played with us the drummer
Reese Winans who's you know one of the best
keyboard players of the generation and then
on two of our songs Slash plays with us.
How did you become friends
with Slash?
I've known Slash for a long time he
actually played probably a handful of shows with the
first iteration of the band and we've just known each other from Los
Angeles for a long time he's a great guy.
He's one of those guys I think that
people forget when they're talking about like the great guitarist every time he
plays a solo it's perfect.
Yeah he's there's no question about it
he's one of the best to ever do it.
