So this video I'm going to teach you a great song for beginners.
It's old classic Amazing Grace
This one's great for people starting out because it uses three chords the G chord
the [C] C chord [D] and the D chord
The entire song versus course everything uses those three chords
[E] So if you're [C] just starting out piano, I have the C notes marked for quicker reference
If you don't have those marked what you can do is find the two black keys and go one of the left
That'll be your C note
You're like you'll hear a lot of people [F#] refer to middle C in piano [A#] lessons
That's what we're talking about find the middle of your keyboard, which is right here on mine
I know [C] the camera shifted over right here's the middle and that's your a middle C
So what you want to do if you're starting out is [G] first learn
Just the chords you start this is the G [C] note go G.
I mean [D] C D E F and that'd be your G
[G] Using your thumb put your G here and first finger and middle finger every other white key
So it's a G a B and a D
That makes it your G chord right there
amazing Z
grace
[C] How sweet we go to a C and that's the same chord position exactly shifted [D#m] down
Three keys one two [C] three to a C every the white key
How sweet the back G [G] sound
That's a
Rich
Me
[D] For the D chord it's gonna be a so just like the C shifted [Dm] down every other white key
But [F#] use this first finger and play this F sharp [D] instead of this one.
So there's your D chord
These three chords the [G] beginner all the core piano so on the [C] G the C [G] and the D
[C] And if you're just starting out, I recommend learning just your right hand [G] first
Z grace
[C] How sweet [G] the sound
That's a
Rich
Me
[D]
[G] I
Once was lost
[C] But now
I'm found
[G] Was blind
but now I see
So once you get comfortable that right hand what you're [Em] gonna do with the left hand is play two bass notes
So [G] if you're playing a G chord, for example, you'd play a G two octaves apart
Using your pinky finger and your thumb
so
Amazing grace How [C] sweet [G] the sound
That's a
[G] Rich
[D] Me
[G] I once was lost
[C] but now
[G] I'm found
was blind [D] but now
I see
And you know [G] where I'm going with this after that [F#] if you get used to the right hand to the left and you're [G] a combine them
Amazing grace [C] How sweet
[G] the sound
That's a
No Rich
Me
[D] [G] I once was lost
[C] but now
[G] I'm found
was blind but now
I see
So you can see chord piano is not as complicated as a lot of people think it is
You're starting the basic [Em] chords right hand the bass notes combine the two
What I do [G] after I get really comfortable is I'll play this G here and use my pinky and play a high G also
So that G and up there so it gives it a really full rich sound [C] see
[G] That's more advanced start out with just your three
As you get more advanced you can add that [C] pinky and [G]
to give you sort of a pattern
Well, [E] I'll also do a lot of times to say [G] for G
I'll go the middle by itself then the outside
Amazing grace [C] How sweet
[G] the sound That's a No, rich like [D] me
[G] I once
was lost
[C] but now [G] I'm found was blind but now
I see
So work on that shoot me a message get any questions [N] let's jump into a devotion here real fast
Hey guys, so sticking with our theme here of amazing grace
I want to talk about grace really quick and just be let this be a reminder to all of us
No matter what we're going through
the kind of Savior that we serve and it's so rewarding to know that we have a Savior that
That we write the song amazing grace for because that's what he's full of if you have your Bibles first
First John 1 9 scripture quoted often says if we confess our sins
He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
if you really believe this Bible is what it is and it's true and every word of it is inspired by God and
He is the Word of God.
You have to believe that verse that if we confess our sins, no matter what you say.
Well, I've I've
Committed been drunkenness committed sexual sins.
I've I've committed murder.
I've committed
Tax fraud I've stolen from companies.
I don't care what it is
This amazing amazing amazing grace that we sing about and we talk [F#] about
That Jesus shows us
Says in first John 1 9 if we confess our [G#] sins
And you say father I realize I've sinned [N] and we are faith that he that me in Christ is faithful
And just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
I looked up grace real fast some dictionary calm says
found favor or goodwill a manifestation of favor
forgiveness charity mercifulness
Clemency pardoned all these things.
That's what Christ has done for us
So do not let
Satan hold you down today because of something you've done in the past or some kind of guilt you're feeling with the amazing grace of Jesus
Christ when he was on that cross
They were beating him and spitting on him and he was shedding his blood for us
The thief on the cross who lived his entire life being a thief was totally separated from God couldn't be farther from God
Was up there hanging on that cross beside Christ and he says, you know, I believe [F#] you are the Son of God
I know you're the Son of God and
Jesus looked at him said today you'll be with me in paradise
Let that come and comfort each of us to know the [G#] thief on the cross with the heaven and no matter what you've done
If you'll confess your sins before Jesus Christ
Said if we ask him he'll come and forgive us for all have sinned
I'm teaching this [N] video.
I've seen your pastor has sinned whoever you're the most spiritual person
You know, we've all seen all of sin and fallen short of the glory of God
So confess to your sins before Christ and he will forgive you and give you life and life more abundantly
Like I said, it's John 10 10.
Hope you guys have a great day.
