[Gm] Hello, how you doing?
How long have you been going now?
37 years I think.
What [Cm] was your first recognition?
[G] First recognition, I suppose when we were signed by Ireland about 76 I suppose.
[Ab] And then we had our [Gm] first Top of the Pops appearance then.
And then our biggest hit was 77.
Do anything you want to do.
[A] You came down to Ireland?
[G] Yeah, oh bloody hell we did, [Cm] first year we did that.
A big open air one like this.
In the town [Ab] hall?
That's right, yeah with a lake in front of us, a miniature [Gm] Crystal Palace [Cm] job.
Yeah, [A] it was great.

[Dbm] You'll get some along [Gbm] there.
[G] Let me fill up [A] that grave.
[G] It ain't you only, [Gb] [A] you got [D] something to say.
Do anything you want to do.

[Gm]
[D] [E] [A] Don't need no politician, [Dm] tell me things [G] I should be.
[A] Not a politician, [Dm] tell me what I ought to see.
[E] I'll [Gb] tell you now, [G] even when [A] you don't hang out.
[G] They tell [Gbm] you what [E] you should do, they don't like [D] to see you.
[A] Why [Gm] don't you ask [A] them, what [D] they pray for you?
Why [G] don't you tell [A] them, what you [D] are going to do?
You'll [E] get some along there.

Let's hear it everyone with [E] your hands in the air, come on.
[D] [G] [E] Okay, everybody, let's hear [D] the chorus.
[G] [E]
[A] Blow the grave down.
[D] Leave the [Gm] people standing in line.
[A] Such a moral mission, [D] in the time of our decline.
[E] Why not [Gbm] a good occasion, [G] in the day [A] called our life?
[G] [Gbm] [D] [E] [D]

[Gbm] [Gm] Let me fill up [A] that grave.

[G]
[E] Do [D] anything you want to do.
[G]
[E] [Em] Do [D] anything you want to do.
[G]
[E] [Em] [D]
[Gm] [Cm] We've had a bit of a resurgence in the last few years.
So yeah, [Ab] the phone keeps ringing, keeps us out, keeps us off [Gm] the streets.
Yeah, [Ab] we've been having it nice and easy.
Plus, we've been going back to places like America and moving around a bit [Gm] now.
We've been [Cm] lucky like that, we've been able to keep busy.
Are you the original or are there some new members?
No, [Ab] I'm the only original [Eb] member.
But [Cm] these guys have been with me for longer than the original band anyway now.
We've been together like this for [Ab] about 12 years.
11 years, [G] so yeah.
[Cm] Yeah, it's a [Ab] good band.
[Fm] What's your plans on [G] the future?
Oh, just to carry on [Cm] doing this.
We've got, in the near future, we've got a new [Dm] live album just come out.
We're [G] writing now for [Cm] a studio one.
We've got that and we've got this American label [F] [G] interested in us.
So we're working [Ab] towards that.
It's very difficult now with the record sales stuff,
so we're working from the other side [Eb] of the pond [Ab] really
to try and get records out [C] over here.
Because [Ab] everyone over here just does them on their [Eb] own,
through websites, [Ab] stuff like that.
So it'd be nice to have a record company's help as well.
So we're working on [Gm] the Americans.
[Cm] Yo Bob.
[N] Cheers mate.
