Hello.
That was Jump Back, a title from you,
that we just heard.
You are a composer, arranger, producer, author,
of course musician, a lot.
You are Yugoslavian, but already in Germany since 1957.
I just mentioned a lot of professions.
Why did you make music for 10 years,
under different pseudonyms,
Don Anderson was probably the most famous,
without a big success?
Well, I needed a while to get to the right direction.
It was pretty early when I started.
Then there weren't many opportunities to play with good bands,
like now in Mainau.
There weren't many clubs,
there weren't many producers,
who could realize what we wanted to do.
So difficulties in the beginning,
10 years ago, 5 years ago.
If you compare that to today,
a band is forming its own group,
for about half a year now.
And you said back then,
I just remembered,
you wanted to play German pop music,
you also worked with German lyrics,
but now it's English again,
does that mean that you have no chance
with German pop music in Germany?
Well, first of all,
I didn't only work with German lyrics,
we also worked with a German and English language LP,
and I did that at the same time.
And the thing with the German lyrics was,
I really got the applause from the wrong corner.
People said,
if the Zank would still look nice,
and was nice to people,
he would be a very good drummer.
Besides, the music is too rock-y.
And that's why I leave it,
and do what I always wanted to do with my group.
You are a rocker.
No, I always played with bands,
I like to do that,
and I also banded it on an LP,
which is now available.
And we will also do a tour in May.
All the best for that.
Great, great for you.
