[Dm] Welcome back to effects for the horn player.
Today we're talking about reverb.
Reverb is probably the most commonly used audio effect and it's a great pedal
to start with.
A reverb pedal adds depth and resonance [N] to imitate your sound in
different spaces.
So whether you want to add natural resonance you might hear in
a small venue or even emulate playing in a giant arena, a reverb pedal can help
you achieve all of this.
The reverb pedal we are using today is the Boss RV-6.
Like most reverb pedals the RV-6 allows you to control the type, length, and level
of the reverb effect.
Now since reverb is a time-based effect and shouldn't alter
the sound or tone of your instrument, this is a good pedal to have towards the
end of your effects loop.
Here's a quick example of this pedal in action.
