[Em] [Dm] [Am]
[Dm] [C]
[Dm] [F] [E]
[Am]
[G] [Abm] [Am] [Gm]
And now I'm going to teach you basically what we just did there.
I'm going to give you a couple of tips and tricks on, you know what I'm saying?
All right, cool.
[Am] Stay.
Good boy.
The first part we have is pretty standard.
[G]
[Em] [Ab] [Em]
So that part right there, you're going to have the hammer on pull off combination right here.
[Ab]
[G] The next thing that could be difficult is that little single stroke [Ab] thing here, where
you have to individually pick each string.
Good way to practice that is just literally just sit with your guitar.
Now you can either pick each one individually, like both down pick, [G] [C]
or you could alternate
pick it, go down on the B, up on the E.
[E] Either one, whatever works for you.
Then back to just standard, [Am]
[E] [B] running down the scale.
[Em] [Dm] So then we have this pattern where we go once on the B string, twice on the E string.
You do that twice.
[Db] And then slide the middle finger down one fret, hit that on the B string, down one more,
and hit both the [C] B and the E string.
[Gb] [D] [Dbm] [C]
[Gm] Here's it slowed down a touch.
[D] [Db]
[C] [Ab] And with that, you've completed the first part of the Riquinto.
I'm so proud of you.
You did such a good job.
Wow.
Moving on to the next part.
The [G] only advice I can really give with that part, when you hit those fast little three
stroke parts, instead of holding your pick directly perpendicular to the strings, [Ab] which
[Am] I normally do for the rest of the Riquinto, I like to turn my hand a little bit this way.
When I strum down, it kind of just falls over the strings a little bit easier.
I feel like my hand can move faster that way.
The next piece of it is pretty much just strumming fast.
The next piece that I have a tip for is when we end up coming up to the 13th and 15th fret,
[D] [C]
it's this [G] little piece right here.
Instead of going down, up, down, what I'll do is I'll pick the E string going up, and
the B string, and then hit them both going down.
It should sound [Dm] something like this.
Play it slowly, you should get something like this.
[Ab]
[Em] Now the last thing I'll cover for this Riquinto, it comes all the way at the end of the Riquinto.
It's the same thing that we just did, right?
But we're doing it on the 8th and 10th fret instead of up [Gb] here on the [Am] 13th and [Ab] 15th.
[Am]
[Em] [E] [Am] Basically, that's all you need to know.
That's pretty much it.
Thanks for watching.
If you liked it, show your mom, show your dad, show your siblings, show your dog.
Please show your dog.
He'll like it.
He'll like the video.
Either way, drop a comment at the bottom, tell me what other songs I should cover, and
