What's wrong with this?
Nothing.
[A] It's like butter.
When I plugged it [E] in, it [A] [Bb] had a very [G]
beautiful, [F] clear tone.
It sounds [Bb] great.
This producer and good friend, Alan Yohannes, [G] had a, I think it was a 59P bass in [Db] Salmon,
and I used it on one of the first records I did.
I love that bass, and [G] this is, it's exactly like it.
[Bb]
And [Dm] it is [E] [F] immediately evocative of a bass that I [Db] learned to play on.
I [Bb] love this thing.
You pick these things up and play them, and it [E] feels like they've been [A] played for years already.
[G] They feel lived in.
They feel worn in.
They feel [Bb] like they're ready to make music.
It's killer bass.
So easy to play.
[A]
I mean, it [Bb] just, it feels great.
[B] Any of the reissue stuff that you're [Gb] doing, I'm always like, [E] I want that.
[A] Sounds great.
[E] The attention to detail [A] [G] is even.
I [Dbm] don't know what they've [A] done, but it's [E] really a beautiful, [Gbm] clear sound.
It's [E] just beautiful, and it really feels great.
The neck is great.
[B] Now this is also the interesting thing.
It's got the [G] bridge cover on [E] it, but it's also got a mute, [G] which [B] I kind of like.
[A] This is, you know, this is [D] all crazy.
[Am] This is like a freaking [D] Cadillac situation up in here.
[Eb] I love this hardware.
Looks really good.
It's light as a feather.
The finish is correct.
It's, I mean, it's period perfect.
