It's got an alder body with a [F#] smooth gloss polyester finish.
It has [C] a 25.5 inch scale C [F#]-shape maple [F#] neck with a [E] rosewood backstripe.
[G] It's [C#] got 21 medium jumbo frets and a [D#] 9.5. inch radius maple fingerboard. A big standout on the Hendrix [Cm] guitar is the Fender [E] 70s style reverse headstock. Jimi would flip [G] right handed guitars upside down to accommodate his left handed playing style which gave him a reverse [E] headstock and a reverse tilt bridge pickup. There's definitely [Gm] a different feel and [E] sound with the longer string on the bass side and the shorter string on the treble side. It [C] tightens up on the bass side for more [E] snap and punch while lessening string tension on the treble side making it easier for bending and vibrato. [G]

[D] It's got a chrome [D#] six saddle [F] synchronized tremolo [E] bridge and vintage style tuning machines. Also check out the cool [C#m] authentic Hendrix [C] neck [E] plate. The [G] electronics are a master volume control, [E] individual tone controls for neck and middle pickup [F] and a five way [E] blade pickup selector switch. The pickups are a set of American vintage 65 single coils. Note that [A#] when you turn a strat upside [E] down and restring it [E] left handed the bridge pickup slants away from the bridge on the [F#] high strings [E] rather than closer to the bridge. This gives the high strings a warmer sound and it gives the bass strings a brighter [Em] sound. [B]
