Hey everybody, how's it going?
This is Bob from Music Store Live.
Today we're taking a look at a Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Series Stratocaster.
It [Eb]
[Eb]
starts [C] off with an alder body, [Eb] this one in three color sunburst.
One of the most notable things you'll first see when you see it is the SRV engraved pick guard.
The maple neck has got a thick oval profile and a Pau Ferro fretboard with dot inlays.
The neck shape is definitely beefier than what you would typically pick up off the rack
at [G] your local store for a Strat.
It's a little bit bigger than the modern C profile that you'd find typically these days.
[Eb]
[Bb] [Gb] One of the next things that's going to jump off at you is the 6105 Dunlop frets.
They're a narrow [Eb] jumbo fret.
[Db] [B]
[Ab] [Gb] [Db]
[Eb] [Ebm] [Eb]
[Bb] [Eb]
[Ebm] [F]
[Eb]
[Db]
[Ab] [Gb] There's gold hardware all over the place.
Left handed tremolo unit, [B] so just like Stevie [Eb] Ray Vaughan's guitar.
[B]
[Db]
[C] [Eb]
[C] [Eb]
[B] So you can get into your [Eb] Lenny sound.
[Dm] [Ab]
[F] [Eb] [G]
[Ab]
[Eb] Another really great feature about this guitar that obviously really contributes to the sound
is the Texas Special pickups.
They help to give that real [D] crisp, you know, kind of a bite to the tone that Stevie Ray Vaughan was known [Db] for.
