_ We are so thankful to God to be here today.
And we get to travel a lot
and we are very thankful for that.
And being able to travel it gives me time to read.
And
I was reading this book and it totally changed my mind about some things that I thought I
understood.
One of them was a verse in 1 Corinthians chapter 13.
And _ I was reading and these verses
talk about love and they were always my favorite verses.
And then one day when I read that
book that I was talking about, it sort of made me understand them in a brand new way.
[G] And the light that I looked at them in, [Eb] there's a verse in 1 John that says, God is love.
[Bb] And so what I want to do with these verses from [A] [Bb] 1 Corinthians chapter 13 [Gm] is I want to
take them [D] and I'm going to [Eb] replace the word love with God.
[Bb] And instead of looking at this
like a list of things I need to do, I [F] want you to hear it as a list of things [Bb] that God
does for [G] you.
_ _ [Dm] [Eb] God is patient.
God is [Bb] kind.
God does not envy and He does not [A] boast.
[Bb]
God
is not proud.
[G] _ God is not [Eb] rude and He is not self-seeking.
[Bb] He is not easily angered.
[A] [Bb] God
keeps no record of [Gm] wrongs.
_ God does not [Eb] delight in evil, but He rejoices with the truth.
[Bb] God
always protects.
He always [A] trusts.
[Bb] He always hopes.
[G] God always perseveres.
[Eb] God never fails.
_ _ [Bb] What we want you to hear tonight is [F] the part that says God always [Bb] hopes.
When He looks
at you, He doesn't [G] see your mistakes and He doesn't see your [Eb] past.
He [Bb] sees this great
hope.
He sees everything that you can be, everything that He [A] made you to be.
[Bb] _ And the
good news is [G] God never fails.

We're a bunch of nobodies from a small town [Bb] and all we've
done is just trust God with everything that we have.
[A] [Bb] So we're here to tell you that if
you will trust God, [G] you will be greatly changed.
[Eb] [Bb] And it won't be because you're perfect.
It
won't be because you're always right.
[A] Because you [Bb] will be changed from the inside out [G] and
it will be because He loves you.
