G'day, my name's Andrew Ellis from Ellis Guitars and I have here today a little
triple-o acoustic guitar [Am]
which we make in our [G] little factory.
Now what I'm going
to do is give you a demonstration of how this guitar sounds.
One, we've tried to
get the microphone so that it sounds as realistic as possible to how the actual
guitar sounds and then we'll compare that to, there's a little rare earth
pickup here and it's the one that's got the little microphone attached to it.
So the first thing I'll do is just play some simple fingerstyle and you can hear
how it sounds acoustically and then I'll show you the other things after that.
[A] [Bm] [E]
[F] [Am] [D] [G]
[Fm] Okay, now I'll give you the rare earth.
There's a little dial on the inside here
which you can change from the rare earth over to the microphone and back.
So here
goes [E] the rare earth sound for you.
[G] [A] [Bm] [F]
[Am] [G] [D]
[G] Okay, now [Eb] I'll flick the microphone over for
you.
It is a little, it's probably a little bit prone to feeding back if you're
trying to do a full band or something like that so that's something you need to
keep in mind if you're [G] going for this particular model.
[D]
[Em] [A] [Bm]
[B] [D] [Am] [C] [D]
[G] Okay, hopefully that
gives you a bit of an idea of what this pickup does and the realisticness of it
compared to how the guitar sounds and hopefully that will help you to decide
whether this pickup is right for you or not.
Okay, thank you.
