This is the lovely Charlotte Ritchie and we are at Gaither Fest and we'd just like to ask you a few [E] questions and pick your brain a little bit tonight.
[Cm] What is your favorite guilty [C] pleasure, food or drink?
That's easy, sweet tea.
Sweet tea.
Yes, preferably Chick-fil-A, [A] sweet tea.
Good.
But [N] yeah, I have serious addiction issue [E] with sweet tea.
I'm [A] drinking some right now, I understand.
That's my favorite.
[C] Kind of a prerequisite if you're in the South.
[Bb] Exactly.
Okay, when you were a child, what [Gb] career did you think you wanted to do at that [C] time?
I wanted to be a pediatrician.
Oh.
And I still, I'm kind of currently on that journey a little bit.
I'm not quite to be a full-fledged [Bb] pediatrician, but to do something in the medical field.
Wow.
It's just something I've always wanted to do, always wanted to [D] accomplish, kind of on my [N] bucket list now.
Yeah.
And so yeah, I wanted to be a pediatrician.
I love working with kids and so.
I can see you'd be a natural.
So that's great.
Well, good luck with that.
Alrighty.
Do you have a latest favorite CD or song or just something that you're listening to right now that touches you?
I love all different kinds of music.
I love the jazz stuff from the 1940s, Ella Fitzgerald is like wonderful.
Like your latest [D] Christmas album?
I know that's, is that influenced?
Yes, that [B] was an inspiration for [Eb] my latest Christmas record.
So yes, [C] I listen to a lot of that.
Okay.
Yeah.
And that leads me into the next question.
What would be your favorite selection from your Christmas album?
If you can pin down a favorite or two. That's hard.
You know what?
I've done a song with Wes Hampton.
It's called The Song of Christmas.
I think it is an amazing song.
Of course, he's a great singer.
[N] And so it's a great moment on the CD.
Okay.
And then just the fun songs like Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
Those [C] things are just nostalgic for me.
I love those songs.
Timeless.
Yeah.
Yes.
And the Booth Brothers [N] joined me on Jingle Bells.
Oh, that's great.
And so that's a fun moment too.
They're such great guys too.
They are.
Sweethearts.
They are amazing.
They really are. They're amazing.
Okay.
Is there a place that you've always wanted to visit in the world and you haven't gotten to?
Italy.
Italy?
[B] Oh, any particular area?
[D] All over.
I want to just [Gb] take a couple of weeks and tour the country and just see [C] what we can see.
I'm [B] dying to visit the Amalfi Coast.
Every picture [Gb] I see of it, I just [Ebm] can't wait to go there.
So [Bm] I'm with you right there.
Okay, I think that's it.
Thank you so much for your time.
Thank you so much.
All right.
Bye
