Check those out.
Alright, let's rock.
Alright this original recording the guitar is a little bit sharp.
I'm in standard tuning.
A lot of it revolves around this classic A chord.
Sometimes A power chord.
But you just want to get into that one finger kind of vibe.
[Am]
[A] [C]
[A] So the little intro before the main riff is.
And also the rhythm.
My thumb's muting the low E too.
[F]
[F#] Oh beat oh beat.
And that's the third fret A [A] string.
[Am]
[A] [G] [F]
And then a little pick up on the third fret low E.
[Am]
[A]
[C]
[Am]
Into the main riff.
[E] [A]
[E] [A]
And so what I'm doing with that is.
[N] I'm still doing that down up up down up up down up.
[E] [C]
[A] And [D] so then I'm playing a D power chord.
[C] [A]
So
[C]
[A]
[F#m] [N] the next section which is like the verse I guess we could call it.
It's A power [A] chord.
And then just [D#] a little piece of what I'm thinking of as a F sharp minor chord.
But I'm just playing fourth fret D.
Second [F#m] fret G.
[B] And that's when the bass is doing a higher up part.
And so the two voicings are the A.
[B] And that little piece of F sharp.
[F#m] So you've [Am] got one two [F#m] three four.
One two three four.
So [D] [A]
[D]
[A] [D]
[Am]
[D] [A]
[Am] [D]
the next section A minor seven.
[Am]
Which is just like an A minor with the ring finger off.
So first fret on the B.
Second fret D.
[C]
[Em] And then you could actually get away moving that up a whole step.
But we have to add second fret G.
So I'm playing this chord.
It's like an inverted D major.
[D]
So it's actually you could also think of it as that.
But then you're adding the third of the B.
And there is I do hear the high E in there.
It's not as predominant.
[Am] No.
[D]
[E] [A]
Classic A.
[C]
[D] [A]
[E] [A]
Next it does the A power chord followed by that inverted D.
[D] [A]
[E] Twice.
Then chug.
[A]
Then again.
[D]
[A] And so I'm just going right to the A minor pentatonic.
[E] Bum bum bum bum.
So two times on the seven.
Bum bum [B] five [A] seven.
And then two times on the five of the A.
[Em] [D] [E] Back up to seven.
And then I'm [C] playing.
Eight five.
[A]
[G]
[D] [C] [A]
[D]
[E]
[A]
[D]
[E]
[C] [A]
Break.
All right next we have some funky little line.
[B]
[C#] [C] [A]
[A] So between the ten and eight.
And then and this is the kind of A blues but with some major third in there.
Then between nine and seven.
[E]
And then I am doing six between six and [C#] five.
[Am]
And kind of bending that.
[E]
[C#] [A] [E]
[C#m]
[C] [A] So you have the five on the B.
Five on the G.
But you got to bend that G up.
[E]
[C#] [A] [E]
[C#]
[A]
Followed by.
[E]
So I'm hitting the seventh fret D.
Six on the G chromatically up.
[D] [E]
[Dm] Then ten on the B.
Over to nine on the G.
[D]
[E] And I'm going down.
Pentatonic.
Nine [C] seven five with a bend.
[A] [D] [E]
[A]
Finally you play that first part of it again.
[E] [Am]
And [F] a little tag there up in the upper register.
Starts the same way.
[D] Seven six seven [D#] eight nine.
[E] Ten on the B.
Hop over to the ten on the high E.
[D]
[E] Ten eight ten twelve.
Eight ten on the B.
[F#] [E]
[A]
[Am]
