Hi guys, welcome to this lesson which is for Forget You by CeeLo Green.
It's also known as F*** You, that's the other name but I don't want my video to get flagged or anything
so let's just call it Forget You for now.
I'm gonna teach you how to play a little lick which is the intro in this case
and I'm gonna teach you how to play all of it right here right now.
So if you wanna learn that, just keep on watching, here we go.
[C] [D]
[F] [C]
Okay, so it's really cool and fun to play and all you need to do is learn three small chords
which you can see above the piano.
Now if you don't know anything about chords, that's absolutely fine, I'm gonna teach you how to play anyway
but if you wanna learn a little [Fm] bit more about it, please have a look in the description box down below.
For now, please have a look above, you can see C, D, F and C again.
Now for the left hand, it's very easy, all you have to do is play the name of the [C] chord.
So you play C, [D] D, [F] F and C [C] again.
Okay, but we're gonna play octaves so play the same note twice basically.
Right here, two [D] C's, two D's, [F]
[C] two F's and two C's.
Okay, the right hand is gonna play G, C, E for C [D] followed by F sharp, A and D for D,
[F] C, F, A for [C] F and E, G, C for C.
Okay, so the second time you play C, it's gonna be down here, the first time it's up here.
So let's practice right.
[D]
[F] [C]
Like that, okay?
Let's combine left and right, right here.
Ta-da [D]-da, [F] like [C]
that, okay?
Now we have to put in the little notes, so you're gonna play [A] G, A and then G, A again
and then it will be [E] D, E and [G] F, G, okay?
So we have G, [D] A and then the [C] C chord, then G, A and the D chord,
[E] D, [F] E and the F chord, [G] F, G and the C chord again.
So right will be
[D] [F] [C]
like that.
Let me do that slowly for [G] you, [A]
[C] [A]
[D] [E]
[F] [G]
[C] like that, okay?
Matching it up with the left, we're gonna hit the left hand when you hit the full chord in the right hand.
So like that, [D]
right there [F]
[C] and there, okay?
Now putting a little bit of rhythm to it, [D]
[F] [C]
okay, right there.
Let's do it really slowly so you can see exactly what's going on.
[G] [C]
[D]
[F] [C]
Just like that and that's it, that's the entire lick.
So if you like this lesson, please give it a thumbs up.
