[B]
What's your [G] name?
My name is Father Rob Gallia.
I'm [F#m] 33 years old, and I'm from Bendigo, [G] Victoria.
I see the collar.
You're a Catholic priest?
Yes, I'm a [B] Catholic priest, ordained
four and a [F#] half years ago.
[C#] I was born in Malta.
[E]
[F#] I [D#] had a lovely upbringing.
I was [F#] about 13 or 14.
I had [C#] rebellious stages when I was a [C#m] teenager.
[Gm] I was in a lot of [F#m] trouble and [F#] quite a messed up life
by the time I was [C#m] 16.
I ended up in a very [D#] dark place where I didn't see
[F#] life worth [C#] living anymore.
Music was [F#m] a great instrument for healing [D#] in my life.
[G#] It was a way for me to express the [A] inexpressible.
Would you get this guitar?
Ah, this is my, [F#]
what I call my wife's.
This [B] is my very first guitar.
I was born at [G] the age of 21.
[F#] Ask [B] me,
[F#] [G] well, why don't you audition for [F#m] X Factor?
[C#m] Now that I can tell them I have, now [F#m] leave me alone.
[B]
[G] [F#] I know Father Rob.
A few years ago, we sang [G#] together at an event.
I wrote a song with a mutual [G] friend, and we performed it for the Pope.
It was a huge audience.
What do [G#] you listen to?
[G] I listen to a lot of different music.
[C#m] My last album [F] that [D#] I downloaded was a [F#] Skrillex album.
[A] What do you pick to sing today?
So today I'm [C#] going to sing Don't You Worry [A] Child by Swedish Eastman.
[Bm] [A]
[G]
[G#] [A#]
[A] [Bm]
[G]
There was a [Bm] time
I used to think [G]
I'd be [Bm] home
I was a king, I had a ball of claw
[G]
So the days have [F#m] gone
[A]
The man and [Bm] his arms are [G] long
I still hear the [A] song
Of [Bm] places where I used to [G]
[Bm] hide
But when you hear the bus honk
The [G] people cry
I [Bm]
still remember how it all [G] changed
Yeah, my father [F#m] said
Don't you worry, [G] child
He's got room for [A] you
Don't you [Bm] worry, don't you worry no [G] more
[Bm]
[G] There was a [Bm] time
I used to look my father's [G] eye
You
[B]
[F#]
[G] [C]
know, it's wonderful when [D#] somebody's having that much fun.
It's contagious.
You've converted one person already today.
[F#] That was fantastic.
[A]
[D#] I'm just so happy to [C#] see you here.
I love hearing you sing.
[B] It was just beautiful.
Really, really [F#] enjoyed it.
Thank you.
[A]
[G] Well, I genuinely want to say thank you so [C] much.
Thank you for coming along.
[D#] You are brilliant.
[A]
[G#] [G]
[E] That [F#] was the perfect song [A] choice for your audition.
[G#] You absolutely smashed it.
[G] And as they say, [B] you had us from hello.
The [A] Maltese accent, I guess.
[G#m]
[G] Shall we put it to a vote?
I'll start off by saying it's a [A] great big yes from [G] me.
[F#m] [Bm]
[G] Yes from me.
[F#m] [Bm]
[G] [F#m] Yes.
[Bm] [Em] [G] Father of the year for you, sister.
See [F] you in the hall.
[Cm]
