_ _ _ _ [F#] And [D] you know I wrote this song [Em] after hearing from, I got an email, let me [A] start over, okay,
I got an [B] email back in July from a girl named [A] Mallory who when [F#] she was 11 years old started
an organization [Em] to help children in Uganda [A] called Project Yasi.
She's almost [Em] 14 now and in the past two and a half years she has [G#] raised over $20,000,
started a child sponsorship program [D] and just done some amazing [A] things for children in Uganda.
And this girl [Em] just has such a heart for Jesus and such a heart for kids [F#] and when she [A] emailed
me, the first [Dm] line of her email said, [E] people think I'm crazy for emailing you that you'll
never [D] even get this.
But if [G#] I've learned one thing in the past [E] two years, it's that God is [D] able to do so
much more than I could ever ask or imagine [B] if I would just [A] believe.
And that struck me so much that I said whatever she [F#m] asks for I want to do it and I really
hope she's not asking for [Em] a trip to the moon because I can _ do other [A] things.
I can come sing and thankfully that's what she [Em] was asking for was me to come and sing
at her benefit concert [F#m] on Orphan Sunday and I [D] said I'm going to be there.
[B] So a few days later after we got this email and I wrote back to her, _ [F#] I was writing for
the new album and my friends that I was writing [Em] with said, Franny what do you want to write about today?
And [A] I told them Mallory's story and I said I want to write a [A] song for her.
She inspired me and she _ [F#m] has just challenged me to live a life [E] of faith and _ belief.
[D] And so _ _ we started writing this song and I want to [A] share it for you tonight.
The cool part about the story is that [E] when we finally got to sing at her [F#m] event a couple
months later, she had no idea we had written this song and that it was going to be on [D] the
album and I got to play it for the [Am] first time for [A] her and her mom and just to see
them [Em] cry and then I'm crying and everyone's [F#] crying and it was really special.
So [D] this is a song that I hope will encourage you tonight that [E] no matter what gifts or talents
or opportunities you [A] have in your hand right now, you [F#] know that God is able to take even
[E] something that looks small [F#] and watch giants fall.
[A] _ _ _ Let _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ go of what you're holding to, [F#m] it's too big, it's too far, it's [A] too strong, it's too
hard, don't hold your love's heart, let it leave you tired.
[F#m] The oceans are breathing, the things you're [D] not seeing, [Bm] but oh, maybe they [F#] don't know
what you [D] know, and you're not [E] alone. _
[Am] Don't you be afraid, [E] giant, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
step into the light, you're on your _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
own.
Giant, [A] _ _ _ _ [E] _ watch the [A] giant, _ _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
[A] _ _ you're in my clear, can't see your heart and [E] head, so bold, so
[A] brave, it's a child life, [E] baby, you're good, out in [A] the mountains, I'm a little [F#m] bit,
so what are you [E] waiting _ for?
[A] Don't you be [E] afraid, giant, _
[F#m] [A] step _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
_ into the light, _ you're on your own.
[A] _ Giant, _ [E] _ _ _

_ [F#m] _ _ you're in [A] my clear, _ _

_ [F#m] your heart and head, _ [A] so bold, so
brave, _ [E] it's a child life, baby, you're good, out in the mountains, I'm a little bit, so
