Hi, I'm here to try to teach you how to play what the Lord has done in me.
[N] I'm playing it in the key of G with my capo on the second fret.
So it's actually in key of A.
[D#m] But all my chord configurations are in the key of G.
[A] The introduction I use is G [E] to a D [A] to a G [Bm] to an A minor 7 [E] to a D7 [A] to a G.
And then the verse is similar to that.
G to a D to a G to a [E] C to a D to [F#m] an E minor.
_ This [D#] time when I hit the D I'm using an F sharp bass [E] underneath it.
To a G to a [A] D to a G.
And then A minor [Bm] 7 comes in.
To a [A] D to a G.
So [N] if I play that at normal tempo from introduction through the first verse.
And I'll try that for you now.
But just so you know the [D#] lyrics in the first verse repeats itself before [F#] it goes on to the chorus.
So it's something like this.
[A] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [Bm] _ _ [E] _ _ [A] _ Let the weak say I [A] am strong.
Let [D] the poor say [F#m] I am rich.
[E] Let [A] the blind say I can see.
It's [Bm] what the Lord has [A] done in me.
_ _ _ [N] The next part would be the chorus.
It starts on a D [E] to [F#m] an E minor to a C [A] to a G.
And [E] then a D [C#m] to a B minor 7.
You can play it [N] that way or you can probably, some people [E] like to play it this way. Same [N] thing.
After the B minor [F#m] 7 is an E minor again.
[G#] Then [E] F sharp under a D.
_ _ [A] G to a D to a G.
And the chorus repeats [N] itself as well.
So that would sound something like this.
[E] _ _ _ [F#m]
Hosanna, Hosanna.
Hosanna to the [D] _ Lamb that [A] was slain.
_ [E] Hosanna, [B] _ _ [F#m] Hosanna.
[A] Jesus died and rose again.
_ _ [E] Hosanna, _ [F#m] Hosanna.
To the [D] Lamb [A] that was slain.
_ [E] _ _ _ [F#m] Hosanna, Hosanna.
[A] Jesus died and [A] rose again. _ _
[N] Then we go into verse 2 which has the same chords throughout it as verse [A] 1.
But the lyrics are different obviously.
[N] _ And it's a long enough verse that it doesn't have to repeat any of the lyrics.
And that is chord progression.
Into the [E] river [A] I will wade.
There [D] my sins [F#m] are washed away.
[A] From the [E] heaven's mercy [A] stream.
[Bm] Of the [E] Savior's love [A] for me.
I will rise from water's blue.
Into [D] the saving [E] [F#m] arms of [E] God.
I will sing [A] salvation's song.
[D] Jesus Christ has [A] set thee free.
That chord progression is a D to a D to a G.
To the C to the D [F#m] to the E minor.
_ [E] D with the F sharp bass.
[A] To the [E] G to a G.
[A] D again.
To [D] the A minor 7.
To the D [A] to the G.
And that repeats again in the second half of the second verse.
D, G, D, G.
[D] C, D, [F#m] E minor.
[E] D with the F sharp this time.
[A] D, G, D, G.
[D] A [F#] minor 7 to the D [A] to the G.
And back to your chorus.
[F#] Repeat the chorus a couple [G#m] of times.
And then you can finish the song [N] off with the first verse.
I hope that's helpful.
I hope I didn't

[A] D again.
To [D] the A minor 7.
To the D [A] to the G.

D, G, D, G.
[D] C, D, [F#m] E minor.
