Hi YouTube, this is Ibanez Brian.
I'm going to give you a little lesson on how to play
[C] There's Power in the Blood.
I do it in the key of G.
[G] So I'm playing the chord of G.
And the next chord that's used is a C chord.
[Em] And then the next [D] chord is a D.
Now I alternate
sometimes between the normal D.
I alternate between that and a D7.
I play that sometimes.
[F#] So the chords for this are pretty much straight forward.
G to C, back to G to D.
It repeats
that a few times.
[G] And then the chorus is pretty much the same thing.
So it's at a slow tempo.
Well at a normal speed it would probably sound like this.
[C] [G] [D] [G]
[C]
[G] [D] [G]
[C] [G]
[D] [G]
So the melody [F#m] is played out on
the fourth and third strings.
A lot of open notes, second and fourth frets.
With a few
half steps in between.
[D] One, two, three, four.
[E] [Dm]
[B] [D]
[F#] [G] [Bm]
[E] [A]
[Bm] [E]
[G]
Alright, so each of those phrases broken [D] down.
First measure.
