[Bb] Hi, this is Andy with ProGuitarShop [Eb].com, and this is a
Robin Trower Signature Overdrive from Fulltone.
This pedal [Gb] was originally designed for Trower
himself, who needed a pedal that [F] responded like a cranked Marshall.
And with that comes an
extremely dynamic pedal that cleans up well by rolling back on your guitar's volume knob,
and [A] loads of smooth sustain.
So let's start with a setting [F] that gives you more of a clean boost,
with some added midrange.
[Ab] I'm playing on a Strat into a 65 amp Soho.
[Db] [Ab]
[Eb]
[Ebm]
[Eb]
And the great thing about
this pedal is that you could open up the tone knob and not worry about losing your low end.
And I'll also start with the volume knob backed off about halfway.

And even with the [F] drive at
maximum, this pedal never sounds gritty, and it maintains a tight low [A] end.
