Hello guys, this is Amos, Dull Music, and in today's lesson,
I'm going to teach you [Db] how to play the Night King [N] theme
from Game of Thrones Season 8.
Okay, it's a very awesome theme.
It's like creepy and mysterious at the [Em] same time.
It's really awesome.
It goes like this.
I'll [Db] give you a preview.

_ [Abm] _ Exactly, okay?
Let's get right into it.
[Em] So it's pretty simple stuff.
Both hands is [E] kind of like individual notes with like_
Left hand is bass notes, and right hand is single notes, okay?
So pretty simple stuff.
We'll break it up into two parts, it's easier to learn.
Okay, the first part goes like this.
Right hand starts on the A.
Okay, right here, just [A] below middle C.
So A_
_ [Am] A, C, [A] C, A.
And repeat that five note note for a second time.
So second time_ _
_ [F] _ _ [A] That's it.
Okay, so this [E] first part consists of ten notes,
but actually it's just [F] five notes played two times, okay?
So one more time, [A] it goes like this.
_ A_
A, [Am] C, C, [A] A_
A_ _
[Am] A, C, C, [A] A.
And that's it for the right hand.
[E] Left hand consists of two bass notes, okay?
You can do it as octave, or you can do it as individual notes.
It doesn't really matter, okay?
[A] So it goes _ A_
And then down to [Ab] G sharp.
Which is a half step from A.
Okay, so those are the two [A] bass notes for the left [Ab] hand.
A and G sharp, remember it.
[E] Two hands together goes like this.
So it's pretty simple.
You know how there's five notes?
Every first note of the five note pattern is played with the left hand [A] together.
So it's like_ _ _
_ [Am] _ _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ Like that.
Now, yeah, [E] one more time.
So first part [A] goes like this.
It's go_ _
_ [Am] _ _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _
_ [Am] _ _ _ Like that.
Moving on to [E] the second part, okay?
So [F] the second part is pretty simple as well.
Similar motives, right hand motive to the first part,
but with the second half, just one note different, okay?
So it goes like this.
The five note motive [Em] comes back [A] again, so A_
_ [Am] A, C, C, [A] A.
But the second time you play the motive, the last note is different.
[Eb] Instead of doing A, C, C, [B] A, it's A, C, C, B this time.
So it goes [Am] A_ _
A, C, C, [Bm] B.
Okay, so that last note changes to [E] B.
Okay, remember that.
Okay, so one more time for the second part.
[A] So it goes A_
_ _ [Am] A, C, C, A. _
[A] E, and then [Am] changes.
A, C, C, [B] B.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand, we have these two different bass notes now.
So this [Gb] time it's F sharp and [Ab] G sharp.
Yeah, so with these two bass notes in mind,
turns [D] together, goes like this.
So A and F sharp [Gbm] together. _ _
Continues.
[Gb] _ _ _ Next, A and [Ab] G sharp together.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [B] Like that.
Pretty awesome.
[E] Okay, one more time.
It goes like this.
Together. _ _
_ [Gb] _ _ _ [Ab] Together. _ _
_ [Am] _ _ [B] _ There you have it for the second part.
And there you have it.
Back [F] to back the two [Em] parts we've learned in this lesson.
We'll just play like this.
[Gb] And you just cycle it and repeat it.
