[A#] Thank you very much.
We appreciate it.
Boy, y'all are a lively crowd.
Have y'all been out in the heat today?
[D] [F#]
We have.
And [G] I'll guarantee you, if you've been out, you've been in the heat.
It started early for us this morning.
Well, this whole week.
Yeah.
We started out in Lexington at Wood Songs, and be sure to watch for that.
That was filmed for PBS [E] television, and it's on syndicated [Gm] shows.
If you go to [G#] woodsongs [A#].com, you will be able to watch that and listen for that.
Had a great time.
Then we came to Nashville, and we were [G] at the downtown [D] Ernest Tubb Record Shop for a listening party.
Thanks to everybody who came out there.
And then [A#] yesterday, we were at Music City Roots, and boy, and all [Gm] day today downtown.
Yeah, we also made a visit by the Music Row Show.
Oh, that's right.
It's special.
We got some friends here from that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We've been like I said, she don't slow down.
And I [A#m] mean, you got to hang on and ride.
I won't [A#] be left behind.
Are you sleeping in in the morning?
I'm about to get out of breath.
This next time, though, we we [G#] I was doing a show up in West Virginia.
Hey, [Gm] hey, hey.
[A#] Well, I was I [F#] was doing [N] a show up there for NPR, and we did our show.
There [Fm] were several bluegrass groups on the show.
Steel Rivers.
There's a lot of [A#] a lot of bluegrass people.
And and I have the [Em] only country band up there.
[D] And after the show was over with, they had us all [G#] come out [F#] on stage and do a verse [Gm] of an old Hank Williams song.
[Fm] And I had heard this [Gm] song all my life and never had even tried [A#] to sing it.
So I didn't know how it was going to turn out.
But after I got through, everybody said, man, you need to record that.
You really do.
That's because everything you sing is awesome.
Oh, we're talking about it.
And I had already recorded this song in the past.
Yes, I did.
But I didn't [G] know it was written by Hank Williams until we recorded it and started getting the writers the label copy.
We decided to give it a little bit of a different twist.
[C] Not necessarily [A#] country, not [G#] necessarily [Gm] bluegrass.
Maybe a little bit [C#] of blues, a little swampy, [D#] organic.
Yeah, [A#] I think somebody described this as organic.
Folks, [D#] this is a little bit [C] organic.
We [F#] hope you like it.
The song that was written by Hank Williams, in my mind, he never thought it'd be recorded like this.
[Gm] We did.
We're proud [Fm] of it.
[F#m] And I think you folks might [D] like it.
