divided the light from the darkness and God [D] called the
light day and the darkness he [Em] called night _ _ [D] and the evening [G] and the morning were the first
day _ _ and God said, let there be a firmament in the midst [Bm] of the waters and let it divide
the [C] waters from the waters and God made the firmament [D] and divided the waters which were
under [Em] the firmament [D] from the waters which were [C] above the firmament and it was so _ [D] _ _

God called the [C] firmament heaven and the evening and the [D] morning were the second day and God
[Am] said, let the waters under the heaven be [D] gathered together _ unto one place [G] and let the dry land
appear [D] and it was so and God [Em] called the dry land earth and the gathering together [C] of the waters
called he seeds [D] and God saw that it was [G] good _ [C] and God said, let the earth bring forth grass the
[D] herb yielding seed and the fruit tree yielding fruit [G] after his kind whose [D] seed is in itself
upon [Em] the earth and it was so [C] and the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed [D] after his kind
and a tree yielding fruit [G] whose seed was in itself after [D] his kind [Em] and God saw that it was [C] good
and the evening and the [D] morning were the third day _ [G] and God said, let there be light in the firmament
[Bm] of the heaven to divide the day from the night [Em] and let them be for signs and for [C] seasons and
the days and years [G] and let them be for light in the firmament [Bm] of the heaven to give light
upon the [Em] earth and it was so and God [C] made two great lights the greater light [D] to rule the day
and the lesser light [G] to rule the night [D] he made the [Em] stars also _ _ [Am] and God set them in the [D] firmament
of the heaven to give light [C] upon the earth and to rule [Am] _
over the day and over the [D] night
and to divide the light from the [G] darkness and [D] God saw that it [Em] was good _ _

abundantly the [D] moving creature that [G] hath life and thou that may [Bm] fly above [C] the earth
in the [D] open firmament of [G] heaven and God created [Bm] great whales and [C] every living creature that
[D] moveth which the [G] waters brought forth _ [Bm] abundantly after [C] their kind and [D] every winged fowl after [C] his

[Em] cattle and creeping thing and beasts of the earth after his kind [D] and it was so
and God made the [Em] beasts of the earth after his kind and cattle [C] after their kind and everything

man in our image after [G] our likeness and let them have dominion over [C] the fish of the sea and over
