Today I'm going to show you how to play the intro to Harin ng Batal.
So this song is tuned to [C] drop C, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ just like most of our songs.
And [G] the intro of [Ab] Harin ng Batal is a very simple chord [E] progression.
_ [A] _ We'll play A, [D] A, C, D, C, _ _ D, _ _ [Eb] C.
So to play the intro, just play those chords, and [D] in between each chord, we're going to play a riff.
It's all on the_

_ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [C] _ _ [D] _
2 D, 2 open strings, _ _ 2nd fret releasing open strings, _ 3rd fret releasing open strings.
_ [Dm] _ _ [G] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Cm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
[G] So you do that riff in [A] between your D, C, Bb.
_ _ [D] When it comes to [G] A, _ _
_ _ _ _ [C] we're going to do a different lick.
_ This lick follows your D minor scale.
_ _ _ _ _ [F] _ _ [Bb] _
_ _ _ [Gm] _ _ [C] It uses hammer-ons and [D] pull-offs.
The first part of the lick, you start with the [G] 1st fret of your 5th string, your Bb.
_ Then you [A] do 3 notes per string hammer-on, [C] paket ng scale. _ _
_ _ _ _ [Bb] _ _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ _ [C] 1st fret, 3rd fret, 5th fret of your 5th string, _ [E] then 2nd fret, 3rd fret, 4th fret of your 4th string,
then 2nd fret, [C] 3rd fret, 5th fret of your [Eb] 3rd string. _ _ _ _
[Bb] _ _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ [A] _
The next part [Gb] of the lick starts [Bb] at the 3rd fret of the [G] 4th string.

Then 3 notes per string, so it's _ 3rd fret, 5th fret, 7th fret of the 4th string,
and [G] then 3rd fret, [F] 5th fret, 7th fret of [C] the 3rd string.
[G] _ [F] _ _
[C] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [D] _ The last part of the lick _ involves pull-offs.
From the 7th fret of the 3rd string, you're just going to pull-off to the 5th [Bb] fret,
then pull-off to the 3rd fret, [D] then go to the 4th string, then 7, 5, 3.

[D] And end at the 7th fret of the 5th string. _ _

Hammer-ons, hammer-ons, and then pull-offs.

_ So after that, just repeat the whole riff. _
When you get to the A, the [Eb] ascending lick after A, you do a different [D] lick.
Actually, it's almost the same as the first one, except for the last part of that [A] lick.
So again, [D] you start with the 1st fret of the 5th [G] string, you do the hammer-on.

And instead of going back [D] down to the 5th string, you go up [E] to the 2nd string.
_ [A] 5th fret, 6th fret, 8th fret, hammer-on.
[C] _ _ [Ab] You go up [E] to the 3rd string, _
[D] _ _ _ 6th string, and that's 5th fret, 6th fret, and 8th fret.
_ [G] Alright?
So again, during the [D] lick, you _ [F] go_ _

So it goes up and up.
To [N] finish it off, you do [B] Bb, then A.
