Had this idea that because I was getting all these letters
Handwritten letters every time I play a piece of music between those news stories on all things considered
and so I thought I'll start an internet music radio show and for the
Internet for the internet in
14 .4. Baud modems right dial-up modems and my idea was this will do a show
that was a multimedia show so you would sit in front of your computer for one hour the show is an hour long and
You would see slides of the musicians
We tell stories and words all while the music is playing actually this is [Gm] literally our very first show
Welcome to all songs considered a music show for your computer.
I'm [A] Bob Boylan
I'm one of the directors of NPR's all things [Gm] considered music
for your computer
[D] Over the years on NPR's all things considered I've been [Gm] playing music snippets
We get a lot of mail [Eb] about these buttons
So I thought there should be a program dedicated to playing full versions of these songs
I'll [G] tell you more as the show goes on.
I'd like to start off with music [Ab] played.
This is my best
The [N] instrument is called a charango.
It's about the size of a ukulele
It has ten strings and in the hands of Gustavo Santo Alaya.
It's divine
Music on [Gm] an armadillo show.
I just have to say you sound like a Bible salesman [G] on [Gm] nitrous or something like
[D] [Gm] This is my very [D] first radio show I'd never did radio in my [Gm] life until I did this [G] show
Honest and truly so I was actually I was looking back at so I I didn't start until about a year later
The the show was a year old when I started and [B] I went back and I looked at some of the bands that you played
During this period and there was this one that kept coming up called the frames a band called the frames
I love the friends [F] who anybody see [A] the frames ever.
Yeah, they played here
And they played there were rock band from Ireland for a long long time
But they had this record [Gb] that came out for the birds and this opening cut was this gorgeous instrumental [A] and I play that instrumental cut
On all things considered all the time and it had [E] some guy in the band.
Anybody see the movie once
[B] You [A] remember the busker guy that Glenn Hansard guy
Wouldn't he amazing right [Eb] was [A] incredible thing that guy we love Glenn Hansard
That guy right there give it up [G] when answer
[N]
[C]
[N] When nobody was playing the frames at all NPR was playing the frames
[G] It meant that we could come over here and play and some people would show up and when 12 or 13 people showed up
We felt like Giants
so
In all the years we've been coming to the States whether whether it was opening for someone or whether it was playing headline
We've been in this room and always loved this room so much
So [A] when I heard this party was in here tonight, I was like, [C] I mean [G] come in
so [D] for the [C] 930
[Am]
[G]
[F]
[C] So if [Am] you ever want something and [G] you call Oh

Right and
[Am] I'll be at your door.
Well, [G] there's no
[F] Word
[C] running for
[Am] when your mind
[A] When [G] your mind made up
[C] There's no point trying to change it
[Am] When your mind
made [G] up
[C] There's no point even stopping
See you're [Am] just like anyone
when the [C] shit
[G] Falls [F] all you wanna do is run
[C] Away and hide [Am] all by yourself.
Well, [G] there's no
[F] There's no
When
[Am] your mind
[G]
[C] There's no
We [Am] are my
Use me [G] when your mind is made
