He's becoming one of my favorite storytellers
His name is Gordon Lightfoot.
The title of the song is rainy day people
It was released back in 1975 and it was also written by Gordon Lightfoot before we get started

_ _ I've always thought the phrase rainy day people meant people that just show up every once in a while out of nowhere and
_ _ It's not a good thing
That's what I always thought that that phrase meant or that that that sentiment meant I never knew well for him
It's saying that the rainy day people are the people you can count on that
when you're feeling sad or you're feeling blue about something or you need to cry that person is there to lend a shoulder because
They probably been through it as well and they understand what you're feeling
But I've always thought it was something about like, you know people who don't hang around when times are tough those rainy day people
That's what I always thought that was that but yeah, that's just something I've always heard, but we'll see

I love the upbeatness of it
I love that country twang in there that guitar in there the slide guitar
I think that's what it or a slider they put on the guitar the car
I think it's the one that sits on your lap and you have a little thing on your finger and you slide it across
I think this was called a slide guitar.
I love that sound
It always like gets me, you know that country vibe and I really enjoyed it.
I've never heard that sound anywhere outside of _
Country I don't think I have ever heard that sound outside of country.

I've never heard it like in a different genre, but I like that sound it gives me that country vibe
But yeah, I really enjoyed this song
