Jam Along & Learn...
All my words fall short, I've [Em] got nothing new
[Bm] could I [D] express all [C] my gratitude?
[G] could sing these songs as [Em] I often do
every song [D] must end, and [G] you [C] never do
I throw up my hands and praise you again and [D] again
[C] is an Hallelujah,
[Em] Hallelujah
[G] I know it's not much, but I've nothing else fit for [D] a king
[Bm] could I [D] express all [C] my gratitude?
[G] could sing these songs as [Em] I often do
every song [D] must end, and [G] you [C] never do
I throw up my hands and praise you again and [D] again
[C] is an Hallelujah,
[Em] Hallelujah
[G] I know it's not much, but I've nothing else fit for [D] a king

This is an AD-17E blacktop.
Kind of a recent addition.
They sent it to us to check it out here at Worship Tutorials.
Thank you Taylor.
These are like, for Taylor guitars, very affordable.
And I think this guitar sounds [F] fantastic.
We're going to have some more content on this guitar coming soon.
I recorded this guitar through a pair of Telefunken M-260
small diaphragm condenser microphones in an XY configuration.
You saw that in the recording.
We wanted to do something a little different with this
where we did more of a studio type recording, but did it also live.
So the takes that you saw were live takes.
Ran those Telefunken mics through a Neve 1073 stereo preamp.
Now for the vocals, this microphone that has magically appeared in my hands
is a Universal Audio SD-1.
This is a recent microphone that they have introduced in their lineup.
If you watch our content throughout the years,
you've noticed that I use the Shure SM7B a lot.
Still [E] have that mic, still love it.
This sounds a lot like it, but it gives you some options
where it can give you kind of a brighter sound
because the SM7B is a really warm microphone in a good way, not in a bad way.
But SD-1 Universal Audio, we ran this mic through a Universal,
this was the Universal Audio chain, ran it through a UA LA-610.
And I was using the LA-2A compressor on that, running into an Apollo.
Man, that preamp and compressor just sound awesome.
So on these playthrough videos, we don't often talk about the gear that we use
to make the sound that you hear, but I think that's a lot of fun.
And I know a lot of you guys are into it, especially these days,
_ being able to record stuff at your churches or just individually
is something that I know a lot of people are interested in.
So maybe in the future when we do these videos,
we'll talk more about that.
Definitely about the guitar too, because this is a great acoustic.
Again, thank you Taylor for letting us check this out.
Thank you for watching.
If you have not subscribed, do it.
We're going to go more song playthrough tutorials in the future.
It's something I've always wanted to make more of a commitment to.
It's still an important thing that we want to offer here at Worship Tutorials,
so if you want to see more of that, links below where you can subscribe.
And we'll see you in the next [N] one.
