[Am] _ This [Dm] song is the Brothers [Am] Four's most recent recording of [E] Greenfields from the Golden [Am] Anniversary album.
_ [Dm] _ I heard [B] the original Brothers Four recording of Greenfields as a kid,
growing up in [Dm] Spokane in the early [Am] 60s.
If someone had said then that I would be part of that group
[Bb] and happily sing [E] that song at every Brothers Four performance 50 years later,

well, I wouldn't have known what to say [Em] or what to think.
What I say now is, [Dm] wow, what an adventure.
_ [G] What a journey.

_ _ _ You will be hearing a lot more about and from the group in the months to come
about the monumental role it's played and continues to play in my life and career.
_ _ _ [D] There have been changes in personnel over [E] the years, including my joining the group in 1969,
Mike McCoy in 2004, and Carl Olson a few years later.

Along with founding member Bob Flick, we are the group now,
_ [G] representing what the group was all those years ago,
