[F#] My name is [G] Craig Koch and I'm here today in the bowels of Hollywood surrounded by troglodytes
and cross dressers to talk to you about a savage amplification device by Fender Musical
Instruments, the Big F as I like to call them.
[G]
[B] [D] It's the new Bandmaster VM.
VM of course standing
[C] for Very Magnificent.
[A#m] [A]
Actually, Vintage Modified I believe is the actual [C#] thingamabob that that's
named after.
But it's an all tube amplification device with some digital trickery on it, some
digital skullduggery.
So I can be cruising in organic veiled tube [C] deliciousness and then
all of a sudden via the flux capacitor on the floor here, that's a technical term, I'm able
to conjure up the powers of an inboard delay
[C#] [B] and
[C#] chorusing which I like to use for a makeshift
Leslie sound.
I'm not really into the Care Bear thing of a chorusy thing.
I'm into the more of
the, you know, this kind of thing.
[F#m] [Am]
[B] [A#] [Cm]
[E] [G] [Cm]
[B] [Am]
[A] [F] [F#]
[D] [E]
[C#] You see what I'm saying?
That is scrum-dill-icious.
[G] [E]
[Em] Now the other
thing that's on board this beast that I find delicious is a little delay.
I don't like to
use a lot of delay.
I don't like a lot of moisture when I'm playing.
But now and again I like a
little slap back so I can sound like some kind of a individual dwelling south of the Mason-Dixon
line.
[Bm] [E] [F#m]
You know [Am] what I'm saying?
Can you feel it?
And I can either have the delay on or the chorus
on or them both on in case I want to get all kinds of crazy.
[Em] [A]
[F#m] [Em] [A]
[G#] [N] See what I'm saying?
So that's just the
clean sound on board this rascal.
There is a reverb on it, but if it was a tube reverb, the head would
be about this tall and that's hideous.
You know what I'm saying?
Who needs a big head?
Wait a
minute.
Anyway, it has a, I was surprised to hear this too because I first started playing this amp,
I was like, boy, it sounds like delicious Fender reverb is on board.
But yet it is in the digital
domain, which some people don't like, but those people have issues because convenience is key in
our world.
You know what I'm saying?
Are you with me?
Security.
Anyway, so over [C#m] here you got,
[C#] [A]
[A#] [F#m]
[A] [C]
sounds delicious.
Sounds like actual tube reverb, but it's not.
It's compliments of the digital
domain.
Delicious.
40 watts, that's a friendly volume situation.
You can turn up your amp,
get a little bit of poi on the clean sound, go over to the lean sound on this thing and you're
rocking without impaling people.
Who's with me out there?
So anyway, [E] so if I go to lead sound here,
[G] [E] [F#]
[D#] [Gm]
[B] [C#]
[Gm] [C#m] [E]
[F#m] back to cleansville.
What I like about this, I'm gonna turn it up just for a second, which may
cause this microphone to freak, but that's all right.
I like about this amp is it sounds like
an old deluxe, uh, deluxe, tweed deluxe.
When you turn it up where it sounds like it's about to
explode.
Cause I don't want some kind of care bear distortion that's all smooth and creamy like
those poncy hairdressers.
Like I don't, I don't have any hair.
So I like distortion to sound like
a conflagration and explosion of the night and of the day.
And this amp provides that kind of
pure chewing [E] satisfaction.
So check this out.
[Em] [Bm]
[G#] [C]
[B] [A]
[E] Wait a minute.
[F#m] Wait a minute.
[F#]
See a little delay
on there.
What are you with me?
So in closing, this amp kicks some serious gluteus maximus.
It
slaps cheek and leaves a mark.
And I think that's important.
So check out your friendly
fender bandmaster amplification device today.
Bye for now.
Is that good?
Thank you.
