Chords for Guitar lesson for "While I Was Away"

_ Hey y'all, Zane Williams here with a little guitar lesson.
Gonna teach you guys how to play my song,
While I Was Away, that Pat Green also recorded.
It is in the key of C.

All right, so you got your basic C shape there. _
And I'm gonna teach you another little chord
that I don't even know the name of
that you're gonna need to know.
What you do is you start off in the C chord shape,
then you're gonna move your ring finger
down one string to the D string, okay?
And then you're gonna take your middle finger off.
Leave your pointer finger where it is
on the first fret of the [F] B string. _ _
[F#] Okay, and then that gives you this [Am] chord. _ _
_ So some of you music theorists
can tell me what that chord is.
I know it's based on an F chord,
_ [F] _ [G] but _ [C] it's a pretty chord.
So you get there, you can just kinda leave your hand
in the C position, C, and then move ring finger
[F] down one string, take your middle finger off.
_ _ [Am] _ _ _ And then [F] in the verse, you're gonna put
your middle finger down on the G,
third fret of the E [G] string.
_ [C] And that gives you [G] a nice _ [C] _ [G] G sus.
Sus is on your pointer finger.
_ _ [C] _ And then back to the C.
_ _ All right, so those are some chords
you need to know for [G#] the song.
Now let's get into the [Fm] song.
I'll teach you the intro real quick.
The intro, you do that, I'm just gonna call it
the funky chord, _ [Am] because I don't even know
what that is for sure.
[G] It's the chord I just taught you.
And what I do is I play the bottom [Fm] four [C] strings.
_ [F] I play them like [C] this. _
_ _ [F] _ _ [Cm] _ [F] So _ I play these two at the same time. _ _ _ _
[C] _ [F] _ _ And then I [Cm] slide [N] my fingers up a fret.
I mean up two frets, sorry.
[G] And I do this _ _ _ shape right here that's a G major triad. _
_ _ Except I play it from top to bottom. _
_ _ [D] _ _ [G] Ah, _ _
_ [F] _ _ [D] _ [C] _ _ now I go to C.
So it's this [F] chord, _ _ [Em] _ slide up [G] to the,
_ _ _ [F] _ _ _ _
[D] _ [C] and then C. _ _ _ _
[F] _ _ _ [C] Then we add a little sus in there
[F] with our pinky finger right there.
_ _ [C] _ All right, so the verses are C.
By the time I made it home.
_ Funky [Am] chord, you were already in bed.
[F] G, [G] chubby cheek pressed to your pillow.
By bedtime, [C] book you back to the C.
_ _ [F] _ [C] And I noticed that you looked older.
[Am] Funky chord, than you did [F] yesterday.
_ [G] _ G, you've been growing up _ while I was [C] away.

_ And that repeats.
And then when we get to the chorus,
it goes, we walk down to an A minor.
[G] And for every _ [Am] dollar I earn.
That's an A minor.
Dollar I [Dm] earn.
There's an F, regular bar [F] F chord.
Lesson you [C] learn without me there.
C, _ [G] walk down to [Am] the A minor. _
