And if you would like to find out what that's all about the link of course is in the description
We are in open e tuning for this one
I made a video all about that yesterday, and I will put the link in the description, but long story short
I've got capo too so that I can avoid turning strings up and turn them down instead and the notes I have are [B] e
B
[E] [G#] G sharp [B] [E] B and E, but if you [Em] want to do the no capo way, that's fine, too
However, you get to [E] e be g sharp be
Is perfectly fine by me and I [F] made you a tab go get it it is 100% no strings attached free
Ryland calm show notes, but there's a trick the title is in super secret backwards code
So no miscreants can horn [F#] in on our super secret information the opposite of she talks to angels would be well [E] the opposite of a
Female human would be a male kelp the opposite of talking is of course listening and angels being a church thing
There are certainly a subset of folks who would rather be at the football game than at church on Sunday
So you're looking for Kenneth the kelp attends the football coaches physics lecture and away we go
All frets will be relative the capo grab the B string in the fourth fret give it a pluck and slide it up to five
Followed by your open [Em] e string then the B string is gonna go four to zero
Followed by your open e string then your G string goes zero one as a hammer on
You pluck your open B and your open e strings back [A] to G one twice
[G#] Pull it off to [E] zero D string
Big beautiful open strum.
I'm gonna do it nice and slow.
No [D#] talking
[Em]
[E]
[A] [E]
Our angelic intro.
I'm pleased to report that [D#] the verse is much easier than that.
You just give it a no [E] hands strum
we're gonna put our [Em] pointer finger on G one our middle finger on a
Two and reach with either your pinky or your [A] ring finger to baby e [E] to
long
Whole bunch of times and after the last time
I'm calling it the ramp up
You just grab the B string in the fifth fret and strum the whole thing focus on the higher strings, but really anything is good
Getting it moving going into the next part, which is the chorus the second time it happens, but the first time it happens
It's just a musical interlude
we're gonna grab the seventh fret of all the strings one of the cool things about open tunings and
Just like we did down here with the G string one fret higher and the a string two frets higher
We're gonna [Gm] do the same thing but with different fingers
So [N] seventh fret relative the capo and middle fingers gonna grab the G string one fret higher
Ring fingers gonna grab the a string two [B] frets higher
[E] Down [A] two frets to the fifth fret.
They don't do
[D] But you can if you want so [B] seventh fret
on off [A] on down two frets and
[E] Open E with the same kind of treatment.
We hear the harmonics.
It's the twelfth fret again relative the capo
It's my fourteenth fret
The seventh [B] fret and I don't [E] know if they play the fifth fret
But it sounds nice.
So you should if you want [B] to for the bridge that happens around a minute and 50 seconds
It's just two chords.
It's gonna be the fifth fret of everything.
We're call [A] that a and
[E] Open E on the a
[N] There's that swirling organ going on and there's the guitar
Somebody's playing the note on the G string seventh fret relative [A] the capo.
It's kind of an interesting one
It's a modal chord now
[B] Smart if you do that
definitely [E] the guitars doing the D string in the [A] seventh fret and you can mess around with the a string in the seventh fret as
Well, if you like to make some stuff go [E] there and they don't but on the e, of course you can
If you want, so here we go bridge is fifth fret
[A] [E] e
back to [A] a and
[E]
e
one more [A] time [E] e
and [A] then just hang on the a
For two measures and that's it a lovely two chord bridge [E] the next time something's different
Is that little breakdown section grab the [F#] D string in the second fret use your middle finger.
We're gonna slide up to four
[G#] Pluck your open G string.
That's the same note twice, right?
Kind of like the beginning [G] of the intro then we're gonna do some triplets some blueberries
Blueberry being a three syllable words nice to say while you're doing triplets G three open
[E] Pluck the open D string blueberry
same blueberry, but on the G string fifth fret
[E] Back to the third fret and then we're gonna pluck the B string the D string [F#] second fret and the D string [E] open
before we give it a strum and
Do that thing.
So here we go [F#] [E]
one more time two ready
go
Followed by that part that matriculates in a lovely fashion downwards the notes are B 5 4 [C#m] 2
[B] Open G 1 G open [E] D open
But in between all those we're gonna pluck the open E string.
We're gonna start with an open E string
5 4 2
Open G string 1 open D open
Big strum, of course more to speed.
I miss the D string at the end.
I'm gonna try it one more time.
Here we go
2 3
There we go
And that's it.
Those are all the pieces to [N] she talks to angels
I hope you enjoyed that one as much as I enjoyed working it out.
Thank you so much for being here
I hope that was fun and helpful.
I'm hoping a lot of stuff here and I will see you next time
