[G] This is the first tune I ever played _ with a group called the Dillards.

_ _ _ I just [G] met them and they asked me to sit in with them and I didn't know what to play.
I just played old time fiddle tunes back in [D] those days.
_ Well, I learned this tune from Tommy Jackson and it [G] was a tune called the Hamilton County Breakdown.
And I thought, that's the fastest one I know, so I'll play that for them.
And it worked. _
_ They asked me to record an album [D] with them.
That was _ 1963 [G] when I met them.
And we [D] recorded an album the following summer in 64.
