Anyway, I grew up playing
accordion very young.
I think I was two.
I could barely hold it, _ of course, but it
was fun.
I heard the first jazz that I heard when I was _ seven.

For the most part I still do not like it, but when [N] I was 10 I heard _ _ Thelonious
Monk, _ who I did not like.
But as I grew a little older I discovered that there was
some great potential in the music of Monk, and if only _ certain
elements of it were changed. _
His notes were very, some of them very wrong
sounding and dissonant.
Also the rhythms were not _ _ _ right.
So _ _ _ from the age of about
20 I decided to take on a project of making the music of Monk more _ _ accessible.
And so every day I put the Monk record on [G] my _ record _ _ _ player and
tried to find the spots where I did not like the [N] music, which were many, and I
started to _ change them. _
_ _ _ I'll show you _ an example of how I come to the concept of
the Monk _ interpretation. _ _ _
