[N] Hi, I'm Jeff Hale, founder of J.

I've been selling quality archetype guitars and accessories to jazz musicians around the
I have a beautiful Heritage guitar here I'd like to describe to you today.
This is a Heritage Sweet 16.
Obviously, it's a 16-inch instrument, and that 16 inches is measured across the lower bouts.
The entire body of the instrument is hand-carved.
So it's a hand-carved piece of spruce, really great grain, beautiful piece of tonewood.
Look at the beautifully flamed solid maple rims that are on this instrument.
I have a two-piece, beautifully flamed.
And the entire body is [A] bound with the white-black, white-black [N] multi-bindings.
The cutaway is not the rounded cutaway.
It's fitted with a gold-fingered tailpiece, which comes from Germany.
Now, this gold-fingered tailpiece, besides looking great, is very functional in that
with these fine adjustments here, you can adjust the tension of each string, the tension
that it puts on the bridge.
And with adjusting back and forth, you can get [E] the volume of each string to be very rich
and pure and very even.
So one string,
[Em] very even, very [N] beautiful, very rich acoustic tone.
We have an ebony bridge here with the sweet 16 inlays on either side.
This beautiful flamed pickguard here that's also multi-bound and matches the wood on the
back, the maple.
This is a full-size humbucking pickup.
This is a floating pickup.
It's not built-in.
So most of the floating pickups are mini-humbuckers.
This is a full-size humbucker.
And it really sounds great, and you'll be able to hear it here in just a couple of minutes.
The fingerboard is ebony with split-block mother-of-pearl inlays.
Also the sweet 16 mother-of-pearl inlays in the headstock.
If you look, it's got a beautifully flamed neck.
It's five-piece maple neck, and it's fitted with Grover tuners.
So let's just listen to it acoustically [Am] here.
[Gm]
[F]
And I'll do it again so you can hear each [A] string individually.
[Am]
[Gm] [F]
Now let's set the [A] amplifier tone on here.
I'm going to play it through an Acoustic Image Claris IIR amplifier that's connected to a
[E] Razor's Edge 28.
[Am] [A]
[F] [A] And I'll just slow it down so you can hear it.
[Gm] [Em] [F]
Each note, very, very rich, very fat jazz sound.
[G] So to recap on this guitar, we've got a Heritage Sweet 16, 16-inch, and a Razor's Edge 28.
Arched up, hand-carved construction.
[G]
We have flamed maple [D] rims.
We have hand-carved two-piece flamed maple back.
Beautiful spruce top, matching maple-bound pickguard.
Gold-fingered tailpiece, ebony bridge.
Full-size floating humbucking pickup.
The ebony fingerboard with split-block inlays.
I didn't mention that before the nut width here is 1-11-16.
The scale length on this instrument is 25-1-2 inches.
And the radius on the fingerboard is 12 inches.
So I always say you can never have too many [C] guitars, [F] and this is exactly [Am] why.
Let me mention also about the neck profile here.
The neck profile is medium to thin, and it's more C-shaped than it is D-shaped.
Very [Gm] easy to play.
[F] [Am]
One really great guitar.
Thank [C] you very much.
