[Bm] [Em]
[G]
[Bm] I got like a hundred [A] likes on [G] one of my SoundCloud songs and I was like, [Ab] this [Em] is a beat.
[Bm] [C]
I have to wear socks when I make music because I feel vulnerable to the [B] floor.
It's cold [N]
and scary.
If I wasn't on tour I would be like super OD about making music all the time but now I can't really so it's not even like I can complain.
I don't really have an [B] opportunity to make music.
I write songs out here but it's good to be away from that for a little bit just to take some time off.
I do it like 12 hours a day if I can.
It's also really fun [N] with my band mates.
My sister's in the band.
She's my best friend.
My best friend growing up, he plays drums [Ab] and then my other good friend plays [Db] bass.
[G]
We're all really young so we can still be mischievous.
We can still be a little immature.
[Bb]
[G] This is also the first time we're able to drink.
I kind of had a lot of characters growing up that I [N] guess embodied when I was making music.
Spaz McGee was one of them.
At one point in high school I kind of had an existential crisis.
[Gb]
I tore my ACL and my meniscus and [C] I got surgery.
I [Ab] was out of school for a month.
[G] My ex-girlfriend started dating my [B] best friend so [N] I kind of just embodied this other character.
Came out of it and started making music [B] that was I guess nostalgic for me.
It [C] was [A] [Em] relating to my influences when I [Ab] was a child.
When I would hear a song like that, say a David Bowie [Em] song or a Beatles song or a The Sewers or New [G] Order or something.
[C]
I don't know, it just related to [Gb] a time in my [Em] childhood and I think had a bigger [Bm] impact on me than new music.
In the [A] process of making Yellow and Such, I was inspired by primary [Em] colors like red, [Bm] yellow and blue.
I [C]
like the way they go [F] together and I'm [Ab] inspired by a lot of other [Em] colors.
But I think in the time period where I [Bm] was making that [C]
project, [Em] primary colors inspired me.
Yellow was my favorite color at the time [B] and I think still is.
I like teal too now.
I'd like to get better at [Ab] playing guitar and playing piano.
I'm not a very good [E] musician.
I'd like to get [Bm] better at singing and [B] dancing too.
I like this girl, Chela.
[G]

Elijah Banksy, he's a rapper, old school rapper, really good.

The [Eb] Corgis, they're like this [D] [Bm]
80s group.
I feel like [G] no one's ever heard of them but I think they're [Eb] amazing.
[Abm] Everybody's gotta [A] learn something.
[Bb] When [A] you understand that there needs to be low points in your life in order for there to be high points.
So [B] I think [Dbm] when you're trying to be yourself, [Bb]
[Ab] people's opinions and [A] judgments stunt [Dbm] that mindset a lot.
But I think once you understand that in order for there to be pleasure, not everything can be pleasurable.
And if [Ab] being yourself was convenient, [A] it'd just be normal.
But [Dbm] I think the inconvenience gives a bigger [Bb] reward for being yourself.
[A] And I think it [Dbm] might hurt from time to time but ultimately [Ab]
will make life just
[Gbm]

[Abm] Everybody's gotta [A] learn sometimes.
