I'll show you how to play the song [B] in the original key
[Am] But if you want you can change the key if you see the chords in other keys
[Em] Right here somewhere.
That way maybe it will be easier for you to sing it.
I don't know you can give it a try
So we just need three different chords for the whole song.
We need the chord of A minor _ _ _ _
[C] the chord of C _ _ _ _ and
the chord of [Em] E minor _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ And throughout the song we're repeating just one chord progression of A minor [C] once C once and [Em] E minor twice
_ _ _ So if you just want to strum with it
You can just do this and use any type of strumming pattern that you like
But I want to teach you how to do the picking pattern that I just did in the intro
So let me come a little bit closer now to show you what I'm doing
alright, so we start on the A minor and [Am] what I'm doing is plucking with my thumb the G string and
Then on the E and A string with my middle and ring finger
_ _ Okay, so I'm doing one and two and
All right
So this is the first half
_ one and two and and then the second half is three and four and
Okay, so on one three and four I'm plucking with my thumb _
_ _ _ _ _ _ Okay
Then I'm moving to C where I'm plucking the bass with my pointing finger the C [C] string _ _ _ _ _
Again on one three and four I'm plucking the bass and on all the ends
I'm plucking the A and E string
_ _ _ _ _ Okay, and then we [Em] go to the E minor chord where with the right hand.
I'm doing exactly the same _ _ _ _ _ _
All right, and because we have E minor twice the second bar E minor.
I'm doing
_ _ The [Cm] first half is normally and then I'm doing this thing
[A] _ _ Which is on the A string three five two five [Am] and I'm going from the beginning _ _ _ _
